They made Rajah's face so much more expressive than the lions in the new version of Lion King.
Obviously. Rajah was like in 2 minutes worth of frames. Lion king was a full movie if lions. It's really expensive to animate fur.
@@hutao646 nah, it's not hard. When you have the model and a powerful PC, even games in this generation can easily simulate very high quality fur. It's just director's design choice

The fact that Rajah does the signature tiger chuffing makes it so much more awesome.
Chuffing is a sound that is a characteristic communication method in tigers and snow leopards. It's basically a parallel to house cats when they purr, chuffing is a friendly sound they use when greeting others they're fond of. You can hear Rajah do it to Aladdin at 1:46 after he licks him, which is a very nice touch on the creator's part.

I actually liked how they gave Rajah a good judge of character, in Aladdin's case when he viewed Aladdin as a friend in the first encounter and then when he recognized him in his disguise.

No, you're not. Rajah is so protective. I would say that is more protective than Simba's father Mufasa and I just love him (Rajah). It is one of my favourite charachters from this movie and from the animated version.

My step mom bought me a stuffed tiger at the zoo, I was sad because the tiger they have the real one was napping so I couldn't see him so she bought me a stuffed one, I named him Rajah.

Raja was way more fun in the original and Aladdin TV series... Disney is one of the largest companies in the world and they didn't put a trained tiger, or at least a robotic one (like phoenix in Harry Potter). I mean I know its live action and just like Cinderella, animals are shown in more realistic way - but still, he should got more screen time (Iago too) and more interacting with characters.
