Dead Space is a 2023 survival horror video game developed by Motive Studio and published by Electronic Arts. A remake of the 2008 game of the same name developed by EA Redwood Shores, it was released on January 27, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is the first release in the Dead Space series since 2013's Dead Space 3. The game received generally favorable reviews from critics, with general praise for its improvements to the original.
Set in the 26th century, the story follows engineer Isaac Clarke, a crewman on a repair vessel called the USG Kellion assigned to the USG Ishimura, a massive planetary mining ship that has gone silent above the planet Aegis VII. His crew includes computer specialist Kendra Daniels, chief security officer Zach Hammond, and co-pilots and security personnel Cpls. Hailey Johnston and Aiden Chen.

That's what I call a Cinematic Masterpiece Walkthrough next up......RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE!!!
Poor Dr. Cross... Even she got affected by the Marker. Nicole couldn't live with the nightmare caused by taking the Marker from Aegis VII. She survived as much as she could but couldn't wait for Isaac any longer. Daniels trusted the bosses of her job way too much to realize the dangers of taking the Marker yet again, paying the price with her life. The tethers malfunctioning look to be a blessing in disguise, as that meteor-like piece of rock solved the "destroying the Marker" problem quite easily. Good riddance to the Hive Mind and that Marker it loved so much. Isaac Clarke... I truly am sorry about what happened to Nicole. If there are nightmares that haunt you still, I can only hope you'll be able to defeat them like you did the nightmares on the Ishimura.

Somehow you gameplay style fit quite well with the engineer background of the main character whom despite the uncommon situation keep the an analytic approach to study the best way available to deal with the threat by combining different tools originally designed for quite a different task.

Is an easter egg that had the first game, and have kept in this remake, "Nicole is dead" the game gives you the spoiler hahah, had more easter eggs but I do not remember them all, another was that if you left the menu screen until the trailer came out the menu screen changed,
a perfect remake, a perfect guide, the best guide dead space remake of all youtube, at least that's my opinion,

whew, that was...I don't evne know how to explain just how GOOD itw as to see a game that I loved a decade or more ago get treated with such respect. The story felt better, cinematics felt better, combat felt better...every aspect of this is an improvement. I even liked kendra's actions more..she honestly came off more human, more reasonable, I wanted issac to save her in the end, in the original I was glad she got tentacle smooshed. Every aspect of this is improved..man I hope RE4 makes me feel this way again for the next proejct :D

Love the nods to Dead Space Downfall with Vincent, the comic, Extraction, and even the Dead space 2 opening conversation between Nicole and Isaac in an audio log.
Never watched the original, loved the remake. Of course, your flawless gameplay is what made it so enjoyable. Looking forward to the second game (when it gets remastered). Not very familiar with the lore of this Universe. It will be interesting to see where Issac goes from here.
The Brute dropping a power node whenever it dies is just like the Demolisher from Dying Light whenever it dies drops a weapon mod.😆

Finally watched all of your Dead Space playthrough. I'm amazed at how easy you made the fights look, the amount of planning and memorizing where they spawn...
Any thoughts on covering the original Dead Space trilogy? Then again, I read that the Severed DLC for DS2 isn't available on PC, and DS3 has all those co-op exclusive missions so it's impossible to make a 100% run for either games.
Thanks for the nice words. I don't think I'll cover the original DS, since I already played the remake. I was hoping they would remake the other 2 games as well, but I read that the remake didn't sell well, which is very surprising to me - I thought there was real hype around the game when it came out and it was receiving high praise from gamers and critics. If it's true and the remake didn't make enough money, it's unlikely they'll invest more money into this franchise.
I certainly don't want to leave this series unfinished on my channel, so I'd cover the original DS 2&3 if there are no more remakes :)
@@patologTV EA is dumb in general, but to expect a horror game to sell as well as their other games... their expectations for DS back then costs us what could've been a damn cool premise for DS3, and even a DS4 existing but alas, their expectations for the remake did it again.
Yeah, I wish we're getting remakes of DS2 & 3, especially the latter so the original writers can fix it but it is what it is.
Yeah, with how fucking good the remake is I think it's safe to say it replaces the original game. Of course, there's no stopping people from going there but DSR plays much better than DS1.
That said, I fear we'll have to wait a long while for the remakes, so just play the old DS2 & 3... And maybe DS1 for completion's and posterity sake?

I just have 1 question. Why Kendra can act like reasonable person under the effect of the marker, everyone go crazy, even Issac got delusion. Her mind must have steel balls.
Well, there are certain moments where she does struggle a bit, such as when she thinks she sees her brother on a security camera, but she certainly handles Marker's influence much better than all the others for some reason.

I think Nicole being Elizabeth Cross is honestly a very smart way to change the twist to make more sense. In the original you either had to believe a hallucination was operating real-world computers, or that isaac was actually doing it but the game wasn't showing him doing it. Which was weird. This way, it all really comes together so much more nicely.

Why is it that every time in dead space people do walk-throughs with normal rated armor, but not the fully upgraded marine armor?
The best armor is available only in New Game+.

How come you were able to upgrade the node at 6:48? There's not a line connecting it to the nearest active node. Did they change that from the original Dead Space?

I also remember the necromorphs being faster and fiercer in og, now they are slower, less accurate and do low damage output. Nice playthrough tho.
