2020 Walk from Royal Pacific to Universal Studios (BONUS: Walk to/Mini-Tour of Diagon Alley)

- Take an early-morning walk from Loews Royal Pacific Resort to Universal Studios Florida at the Universal Orlando Resort! On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, I recorded my walk from the front doors of RPR to the turnstiles of USF to take advantage of early park entry. As a bonus, I also recorded my walk from just inside the park to Diagon Alley as well as a mini-tour of the Diagon Alley streets. Be sure to check out the shrunken heads singing in Knockturn Alley! :-)
If you are anything like me, when you're missing some of your favorite theme parks and resorts, any video that makes you feel like you're there is always a comfort to watch. I really enjoy kicking back and just watching walking tours of some of my favorite parks to get that feeling of immersion and escapism, even just for a few minutes. I made this video for myself for just this reason, but if anyone else finds it interesting/enjoyable, then that's just really cool!
This video contains almost all of the natural, ambient sounds during the walk (including parents calling for their kids, haha). I only added music in places where licensed music was really recognizable (and the intro and outro, of course).
Shot 100% on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and during Universal's enhanced safety measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (i.e. social distancing, face coverings/masks, etc.)

So what was the total walk time to from Royal Pacific to IOA?
10 minutes at a casual pace and with no line at security👍👍

@@naureenkhashwji8039 10 minutes to IOA. A couple minutes less to Citywalk as that's where the security checkpoint is (right next to Margaritaville).

Do you recommend Royal Pacific?
Yes! Whole-heartedly! Believe it or not, I'm sitting in our room at Royal Pacific as I type this reply. We just checked in today for our 2021 trip. Although more crowded than last year (naturally), I still love it as much as I always have! We just spent the evening in the pool and are now headed to Jake's for dinner!
@@GarrettTravels alright! We are going in November with a couple friends and we are staying at royal pacific! I’m a little on the fence about staying there cause some people say it’s not good etc but when I hear people say it’s really good it gives me more confidence that I will have a great time there! @@fellowtheaterkid I think you'll have a wonderful time! It's all subjective, of course, but we had the opportunity to get Hard Rock and Portofino at a similar price, but we still choose RPR because we love it that much. Lol! Have a fantastic trip in November!!
