He actually sounds alot better live. For some reason it sounds like a watered down generic version of his actual voice(mainly in 1D stuff). And his high notes, falsettos, low notes and everything sound much more flattering and beautiful live. Sometimes too much instrumentation in the studio version drowns out his crazy adlibs. I'm not criticizing your opinion or anything like that. This is just what I feel. 🙂

The recording instruments cannot get a grasp of Zayn's beautiful voice and they normalise it to the average autotuned voice😂His family members are really lucky,they can hear his live version of almost everything everyday ❤️
