The Royal Visit of 1955 to Malvern Mill, Nelson, Lancashire

This short film shot on 16mm film by Harry Boocock and Arthur Bickerstaffe two founder members of the then Pendle Film Society, shows the Royal Visit on April 14th 1955 to a cotton manufacturer Walter Pollard Ltd at Malvern Mill, Nelson in Lancashire. The film was reprocessed onto video by Peter Copestake and re-edited by Howard Greenwood, both members of the later Pendle Movie Makers.
