Not knowing bandicoots are real animals is actually commonplace. I've seen a lot of reactions to this fight where the people were as surprised as you are.
Also they got something really weird here. When claiming that Crash shows symptoms of autism, they show a guy named Kim Peek, who was famous for his savant skills...but he wasn't autistic. So I gotta wonder why they showed him of all people and not, say, the artist who can draw all the details in a city after one helicopter ride over it.
The thing about the creators making Crash a Bandicoot is that they were aiming to choose an Animal that not a lot of people know, similar to Sonic being a Hedgehog.
Could just be an honest mistake. Half of all savants are diagnosed autistic, so it's easy to make that assumption when discussing savantism

Well sort of, Legend Spyro's scale of power is galactic especially with Aether and Nether which is really nuts, Legend Dark Spyro has this absurd melee attack which involves lightning fast attacks and the Nether increases the Destructive effects of it, he even ends off the attack with a brutal & merciless smack.
The moment Death Battle decide to add feats from the legend of Spyro series Crash was not gone have a hard time wining it, he has better control of is elemental powers, can slow down time and has the aether.
If Death Battle were to remake this battle they can give crash access to the quantum masks, there like the entity uncharged of mandating balance and order to the space and time.
Kapuna-Wa: This mask grants Crash the ability to stop time
Ika-Ika: This mask lets Crash control gravity
Lani-Loli: This mask lets Crash phase things from one dimension to another
Akano: This mask give Crash a much faster tornado spin it also covers him in Dark mater energy

@@juliannavarretealvarez3070 They could do the Quantum Masks but look at how massive the Aether Fury is in the CGI Cutscene of ANB in the Opening of TEN, those multiple "ripples" of the explosion expanded all the way out to space and while it may only be for purification especially with the last blast, the scale should still have messed with the Quantum World, affecting all the atoms with its power and I think the Aether Element and its Fury would also do something to the Masks.
Please do Sora vs Pit. Even though he's the main character they are no major Kingdom Hearts spoilers in Sora's rundown and while Pit has some spoilers I can't imagine you're going to be playing Kid Icarus anytime soon. Though I would recommend it. It's a lot of fun and spoilers honestly don't hurt it that much really.
These two are two of PlayStation”s Biggest ICONCS,and people who grew up in the late 90s or early 2000s had major nostalgia when watching this death battle,cause I know I did,and by the way I didn’t really care who would win,cause I like them both.

"So Avatar. Spyro is avatar." Y'know Avatar didn't invent the concept of element based combat, right? Like it's been around as far back as the first game consoles.
Spyro didn’t start freely switching breaths until the fourth game (at least in consoles, don’t know about handhelds) but it wasn’t until the Legend of Spyro reboot it became relevant to the lore. Don’t know how it is with Skylanders. Closest thing to breath switching in the first three games were through temporary fire and ice power ups. Funnily enough the Legend of Spyro was not only inspired by Lord of the Rings but also starred Elijah Wood as Spyro who played Frodo, the main character of Lord of the Rings.
In Skylanders, they stick with Fire but take inspiration from TLOS and involve variety for it, Cynder though keeps the Shadow Strike from the Shadow Element, Phantom Fright or an ability like it from the Fear Element and now can breathe Dark Electricity which is reminiscent of her Dark/Corrupted Fire Element in ANB because of Black staining the Electricity and including Purple in the Electricity.
You miss out on a lot Kyle... Including common fruit.

Spyro was my childhood. My mom introduced me to the first sypro game and i am saving up money for the Reignited Trilogy.
- I admit I've played few of the games, not well versed in the lore in either but this felt like a very 1 sided fight

@@theduckgoesmoo Yeah, that was a feature in the very first Crash Bandicoot game. When you complete a level, every box you missed is dropped onto Crash's head. I think 112 boxes is the largest amount you can miss in the game. Later games only show a ghostly box at the end of a level with a ??/?? tally of how many boxes you collected out of all in the level.

I don't think the Sora vs Pit battle spoils much, so I think you can watch it, but I might be wrong. But if you wanna get into Kingdom Hearts I really recommend the video A Good Enough Summary of Kingdom Hearts by Barry Kramer, its really funny video and explains all in a fast way, so you don't need to play the 15 games or whatever of varying quality.

Kingdom Hearts lore is too complex to reasonably consume unless you REALLY want to play 9 RPGs in a row with a wiki article on hand. It's better if you just watched the battle, trust me, it'll save so much time

If you're planning on playing the Kingdom Hearts games at some point, I'd say skip Sora Vs. Pit. The whole series thus far is available on PC, PS4, and XBox One, so you should be good to play them whenever, if that's the case. It's basically a Disney series with elements of Final Fantasy thrown in, stuff like magic spells, enemies, and even characters like Cloud, Aerith, and Sephiroth show up in these games, so there's at least SOME stuff you'd be familiar with there. If you're interested, I'd definitely recommend playing the Kingdom Hearts series.
Though to be fair they're basically different people. One of them even has a...semi-different name (even though your friends claim otherwise, "Leon")
The big red guy is Crunch Bandicoot, and he is supposed to be a evil and stronger version of Crash, but then he became good at the end of the game he first appeared.
The reason people called it Convexity is because the place Spyro learned it was called that and the breath’s canon name is never mentioned. Though I personally prefer aether since it makes a symbolic contrast with dark aether which is basically nether.
I would love to see a rematch between these two. I'm not that up to date on Spyro but in Crash's most recent mainline game he gains access to the power of the quantum masks, which could give him a lot more of a kick against Spyro. There are 4 masks in total, and hold the powers of phasing objects in and out of existence, dark matter, time, and changing gravity. I still don't know if Crash would lose again or not but it would certainly be a lot of fun to watch.
Aether has a lot of very strong effects, you can see the CGI Aether Fury erupts many "ripples" out into space and its final blast while for purification, still has an insane punch and the power emitting from the Masks and the Masks themselves would be affected, might not destroy but could nullify their magic depending on how easy they are to be stopped, I just know Aether is a higher level of power compared to those Masks and a bigger beast.
This is just a fun fight. I’m fond of both series. Pretty nostalgic for me. Crash has one of my favorite video game villains. Dr. Cortex. That guy is just hysterical and love every moment he’s on screen. He’s just SO silly. Both series are silly. Gotta love em.

Hoo boy this one’s got a special place in my heart. Crash & Spyro, both the characters and the games, played a very large part of my childhood. While everyone around me was talking about Mario & Sonic, I was playing Crash & Spyro. This alone made this my absolute most wanted Death Battle, and while its hardly flawless, the fact that it exists is enough to make me happy.
Fun fact: Spyro in this fight is voiced by Edward Bosco, the voice of Gargos in Killer Instinct, Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and Hammerhead from One Punch Man. You’ll be seeing this name again in a future Death Battle.
So this fight actually has 2 original tracks to its name, both done by Brandon Yates.
The first is called “Off-Brandicoot” which plays at the beginning of the animation and has an abrupt stop when Crash kills Sparx.

There's a difference though, it is a Crystal Cluster, a Dragon Time Fury, something not associated with his natural abilities specifically the Ice Element and he & Cynder are asleep and after the credits of TLOS:TEN, you can see Sparx freaking out as he was left that way in suspended animation meaning they're legit frozen in time and can't move, close their eyes, open eyes, etc. but do grow & age overtime because it's much like Superionic Ice meaning acts like a liquid and solid.
I mean… Crash speaks more in Skylanders but… we don’t talk about Skylanders

When I was growing up I had to be a one game console household for monetary reasons, so I never had the original PlayStation and thus missed out on really getting in on the classic PS1 mascots. I did have some friends who had these games that let me play them, but it wasn’t until after the PS1 days. So I never developed any attachment to Spyro or Crash. When I did eventually get to play their games later on, I connected to Spyro much better and find his games to be pretty great… meanwhile I hate Crash. I don’t like his gameplay, his character (the rest of the cast is fun but I don’t like Crash himself), design choices, overall I just do t get why he’s such a big name for people. However the next big PlayStation mascots that Naughty Dog (the original team behind Crash) made, Jak&Daxter, became one of my most beloved and cherished video games/characters of all time.
I can’t really say whether or not Sora vs Pit will have big spoilers for Kingdom Hearts as I’ve never played those games. Can’t help you on that front. It’s a fairly average episode overall to me anyway so I don’t feel strongly about you skipping it or not. You’ve got some good ones coming up on that list. :D

I wonder if the results would be different if they used Crash from Crash 4. He has 4 more masks in his arsenal.
Considering how powerful and a bigger beast Aether is as seen with its Fury in that CGI Cutscene, it's a much higher level of power compared to those Masks and its Fury could definitely mess up the atoms of them and if it's dark magic, nullify it because that Fury purified Cynder of the corruption and Dark Aether/Nether, its also built up fast and that speed of those waves of the explosion you saw isn't sped up, that's how fast the explosion is.
Edward Bosco killed it as Spyro. Hard to believe he also voiced Alastor in Hazbin Hotel.

Much as I liked these characters, especially Spyro, and the battle itself was cool, I'll admit I think they pulled the Autism and mental health symptoms out of their butts as they had very little impact on the battle.
