Agreed. Surah fatiha has shifa benefits according to the Sunnah. Therefore it is for living people. There is no point in reciting Al fatiha for the dead as it will not benefit him/ her the least.

Can you also look into that so many Ustads in Indonesia self proclaimed that they are the direct decedent of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and called themselves Habib. What is your comments on this? It seems that Indonesian muslims are easily fooled by these dishonest ustads for the purpose of personal gains.
Habib is nickname from the people for ahlulbait and your judge to some scholars in Indonesia its too one sided, they also have hujjah for their statement too

We're not happy with some 'forceable perspective' while it is still can be argued. We are Indonesian, the biggest muslim in the world. We used to be different in some perspectives. We had a lot of 'fights' and arguments about it. Try to do research how we can achieve the settlement between Muhammadiyah people and Nahdhatul Ulama people. That was long long 'fight'.
