the raised garden beds aren’t the best for places like florida because you’re losing a LOT of moisture through the bottom and sides- hence why your plants are drying out way quicker! you could try and put a liner along the inside to help retain water but unfortunately, there’s too much hot air circulating around it causing them to not hold in the moisture as well as an in ground bed would!
Interesting. Can we just water more and be ok? I just bought a few beds
@@hisloveiseternal1 if you’re ok with watering more often then yes! you can also put mulch along the top to seal in moisture, and also line the beds so it’s not just soil sitting in there. i’ve also found that mixing in peat moss can help retain some water as well 👍🏼

Hi! For the espresso machine, I think you’re going to want to grind the beans wayyyyy finer than you have now. The water is passing thru too fast which means there’s no pressure building up in the puck so the grind size could be a place to start :)

The rot is typically from inconsistent watering, Either overwatering or under watering can cause it., Look up Blossom end rot, it happens often to tomatoes.
I agree with Sarah! Inconsistent watering or lack of calcium (though that seems unlikely given Florida's water source).
Have you read The Last Thing He Told Me? Oh man, so moving and gripping without being very dramatic and over the top. A great author by telling a story so simply.

The rotting on the end us called blossom end rot. And it typically means your soil needs calcium, magnesium and potassium. A lot of people put a small amount of Epsom salt for potassium and magnesium and Tums (the medicine) for calcium.
You should read The People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry! It’s such a light hearted, summery rom com book! It reminds me of one of Mathew McConaughey’s classic rom coms!

Have you been fertilizing your garden? Also the rot on your bell peppers are called blossom-end rot. Results from a calcium defeiency due to uneven watering.

Hello friend, a suggestion for container gardening is to add charcoal and small gravel in the bottom of planter. It will help with better drainage and keep moisture in.

Allison! I absolutely adore you and your videos. I love reading too and I 100% understand when you say you wish you could find a book to really fall in love with. So I have to share ☺️ My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. And if you haven’t already, you need to read “The Storyteller”, “Leaving Time”, and “Nineteen minutes”. Those are my favorites by her. She will definitely get you hooked, and her books usually involve some type of ethical dilemmas. They’re amazing. Also if you’re looking for something more educational, check out “The Body Keeps the Score”. It’s about the affects of the brain, mind and body due to trauma. Love ya 💕

I have a water fountain feature i put small smooth river rocks around mine, with small white rocks too. The water is still able to drain though. I love Palmer , he made me laugh in your video when you were unboxing and he tail was in camera view. What a sweetie he is.

You might could try 7 Dust on your bell pepper plant! It could be some type of bug that’s making them do that! We use it!

the rot might be blossom rot! That means the soil doesnt contain enough calcium! I had the same thing happen with my tomatoes and gave them tums and this tomato food enriched with calcium and magnesium and such and it fixed it!

I had that happen to my computer so I googled it and followed the instructions. Which was take the back off remove the battery see if there is any dust wipe it off put it back and see if it turns on. On google it said it could also be static from sitting it on you lap or having it in contact with your clothes. Anyway it worked and it has been working fine ever since. I have a Hp laptop.

Those yellow peppers, when you water them are you getting them wet?
That can cause mold.
All your soil looks dry, best to have a vegetable garden with some kind of shade in the afternoon when it's the hottest time of the day.
I think your pepper rot might be calcium deficiencies! Sometimes it happens if they grow too fast, or there's not enough nutrients in the soil/inconsistent watering. Try mixing in some egg shells into the soil around the plant :)
