Today's retrofit is installing some aftermarket LED lighting in the footwell of the Smart 453 with our custom brackets that we have had manufactured. We go over the process of how to install them and the finished look!
We decided to go aftermarket on this particular retrofit as the Genuine Smart version only offers orange and requires main dealer coding. Ours run off a 12v source, has 3 colours and in my personal opinion looks much better whilst looking OEM!

Hello 👋, I don't know if I understand correctly, but was this light bulb hidden inside the wiring or did you install it? I have a smart Eq 2019 (Nov) and I found a chip hanging over mine.... what do I have to do? buy just one light bulb? thanks

The same screw hole looks present on the passenger side, would there be no need for the tape?
From memory I don't remember seeing the same on the other side. Definitely isn't a bolt there like there is on the driver side. In all honesty the high-bond double side is VERY good.
Do you sell the brackets? Or are they available on the open marketplace.
