Always interesting to see people come in to buy a watch and ask "which one is cooler?" or "which one will people like more?" - buy whatever watch YOU personally like more because it will be on YOUR wrist. Quit worrying about what other people think and wear what makes you happy.

i mean the reality is most ppl buy watches to flex. if you didn't want to flex or you aren't trying to make money on the watch then you'd be better off buying a cheaper watch bc you can get the same type of movements in cheaper watches.
A huge proponent to this is the fact that they are in Miami. Everyone there has a lot of money, so standing out is difficult. It is a really unfortunate culture the city has created. It is a never ending cycle of wanting more & more.
This is why the jewelry and watch industry flourishes in Florida. The flex culture is real and deeply ingrained into people’s lives there.

@@777FreeYoungThug no most people don't, that's patently false. The majority of watches sold are not from high end luxury watch shops for pieces like a Rolex, AP, or RM. The big 4 make up the Swiss watches sold, but not the majority. What you are saying is wrong even though we all agree, that a watch should be a reflection of your own taste and shouldn't be a flex or investment. These are the wrong reasons to buy watches and do not make up the majority of watch sales.

Rolex is the responsible for the watch market world as we know today. When you talk about a "dream trio" and you say "NAH" speaking in a way that diminishes the brand, it's just like denying part of watch history. It's not always about flexing the most expensive or complicated movement.
It's just my opinion... People care more about what others will think about them.
