I hope it is what i had a few years back after a strep infection where the lining of my sinuses were inflamed and were causing pain when under pressure, I ended up with a cold and even coughing it was really painful in the end i was put on a long course of antibiotics by ENT consultants. 3 months later i was all sorted out thankfully. I hope it is a quick fix. Or a fixable issue... thankfully you have many toys above the water and we will all look forward to seeing you out this summer!

I've been diving for about 25 years. Only had a block like that once
coming off a bad cold, it took out over a week of diving in Hawaii. Have done a ton of dives since.
Just pray you never get a reverse block... My Dad got one coming up on a dive. We tried to work through it until both of our tanks were dry. He had to blow out both ear drums to get to the surface. It was horrible. He still dove after that.

Just saying; it's painful, it sucks and you will dive again. Pretty damn soon actually. As soon as your sinuses clear you'll be back down there.

Thank you. We've always been very careful about ascending too quickly. My Dad's reverse block hit him around 30ft. We had already done the slowly stepped ascent.
@@iankenney6515 I had the same thing happen to me at Peacock Springs in the Peanut tunnel one time (inside the cave, a few hundred feet from the entrance) and it was definitely NOT a comfortable experience. Thankfully my ears cleared after about 20 minutes or so, and I was able to exit.

Get well soon! When I had my kidney surgery a few years back, watching your videos while I was bed ridden for 2 weeks is a big part of what inspired me to do my own channel!
Post when you are able and they don’t have to be diving videos! Pond vids, boat vids, urban treasure vids, doesn’t matter, we’ll watch it!

Diving can get super complicated. It's all about internal and external pressures and keeping track of it. I'm proud of you for taking care of your health!
I honestly started watching your channel cause the diving but you have so much content and different videos it won’t hurt u a bit to step back from diving . Keep going .
The cheap submarine must have messed Jordan up. I suppose one day you can buy a million dollar sub and still enjoy diving.

Get well Brandon. I’m not a scuba diver but I used to free dive and had something similar happen but an elephant on my chest it was scary, I know you don’t want to hear it but take it slow and heal properly.

Brandon, I hope you have a speedy recovery and even though I don't dive, I do know the sinus pain you're speaking about. For over a year I had that exact pain, because of constant sinus infection. I don't wish it on anyone- so again I hope & pray you have a speedy recovery. You always have great content. Keep Orange Crushing It!

Take care of yourself dude. Ten years ago I was diving and around 20ft I experienced similar symptoms, maybe even a little worse than what you described. I haven't been able to dive since, and can only get down to about ten feet these days a decade later. My right side just can't equalize anymore. Take care buddy

But as someone who has followed u for years now I just want to say I am so grateful for the content u give us and how hard u grind to make sure the fans have new stuff to watch from u all of the time. Brandon its okay don't overwork yourself take breaks! I know what you're going through, I dove all summer 24/7 and wasn't diagnosed with anything but yeah its a lot of work and physically straining I might only be 13 but I get you. Just know we love you're work. You inspired me to start doing more things aquatic and when I was all cooped up and you were there to provide content. Thank you Brandon!

I’m a 14 years old and I do a bunch of scuba diving and that has happened to me before I went to the doctors and well they fixed it it takes time but they fixed it just know you will get better so don’t worry about all that take all that stress away don’t carry it , just wanna say you were my childhood so I love you dude be safe out there

Your subscribers don’t follow you because you dive. There are dozens of diving influencers. We follow you, because you express a depth from your heart & soul that we do not find in others. You should know that your subscribers would continue to follow you whether you are above or below the water. You touch our hearts & souls and make us feel more alive, despite most of us being trapped in the rat race of life. So thank you for just sharing your life with us. And BTW, tons of influencers were taking long stretches of time of during the pandemic when the became sick with Covid. If you have to take a break from posting for a month or two, that perfectly acceptable. I can't equalize below 20-25 feet. Had issues with my ears and Adnoids my whole life. Kept me from finishing my PADI cert. I feel your pain man.

I know EXACTLY what you are going thru... I have over 500 recreational dives (dry suit, nitrox, and wreck dives) and on a dive trip to the Philippines I suffered barotrauma to my right ear. I was unable to equalize and pushed it too hard- to the detriment of my ear. I couldn't dive for years and only now am thinking about getting back in the water. Take it easy, I know the pressure you must feel with the Weather Channel show and all, but don't push it and don't let anyone push you. Get back into it slowly... Pullin' for you bro!
