Topic: Imaginal Absorption in OCD

Presentation by Carl Robbins on the concept of imaginal absorption in Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). A growing body of evidence in recent years has shown a strong link between imaginal absorption and dissociation with obsessive compulsive symptoms. In this talk, we'll explore the implication of this research for our understanding of inferential confusion and other features of OCD. We will also consider how this understanding might inform our clinical work.
