  • It's ridiculously light for such a robust-looking harness. But what does it feel like in the air? And is it practical to use? Join Flybubble Paragliding as we test out the new Advance EASINESS 3 and analyse its strengths and weaknesses.

    You didn't mention the speedbar much. I find the speedbar incredibly hard to find and requiring a lot of strength on the Easiness 2. Is this any better?

  • @Parakitedude

    Breeze2 or Easiness3…what shall I pick. Had a Progress3 a really comfortable harness, sold it for more security an bought a Sucess5 and now i need comfort and security splitleg😆 for mustasch and miniwing…should have kept the Progress3….
    So easiness 3 or breeze2? What is best for that?

    Can you compare the Easiness 3 and Skywalk breeze on just the flying comfort? Also are they similar pack size when folded up if the Easiness isn't in backpack mode?
    Great review on both these harnesses.

      Very good review, I am a big fan of your videos. Keep up the good work. The direct comparison between the Breeze and the Easiness 3 would interest me also very much. Just the length of the Legpads, I am 1.86 cm tall, and the controllability by weight shift.

    Very nice review! I’m not a big fan of the altirando I think it’s a bulky ugly harness that is kinda junk. This Advanced looks great! One thing you didn’t touch on was how they compare on price. I think I still like my Ozium better for a light weight harness but I do wish the Ozium had a bigger back pocket. I can just fit my rucksack and concertina bag in there...
    thanks again and safe flying!!!

      Hey Kevin, I don't mention prices because we have a global audience and it's going to be different for everyone, also prices change but the video is fixed. All the info is on our website for comparison.

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo Před 4 lety

      Whilst I agree that the EASINESS 3 can be used as a tandem passenger harness--like it's predecessor, the EASINESS 2--and it works pretty well for this purpose, I find that a dedicated tandem passenger harness works better, as you'd expect. The Supair tandem passenger harnesses are popular and work well: flybubble.com/shop/harnesses/tandem-paragliding-harnesses/tandem-passenger

    Nice review! I have the Advance Progress 3 and don't really see any need to upgrade at this point. Do you have any videos reviewing/recommending a cockpit to store various devices on while in flight (eg Flymaster, etc)? This is going to be my first one and not really sure what to get or which devices I should be using.

    what is your recommendation about using front mounted reserves on harness like this or the breeze, that have an integrated reserve container? this way I can have only one reserve that switches between mountain and normal harness

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo Před 4 lety

      It's no problem to do this this if you want to. Advance have designed the Frontcontainer Zip Light with their EASINESS and STRAPLESS harnesses in mind, but this can also be used with other harnesses. flybubble.com/advance-frontcontainer-zip-light but some others are suitable too flybubble.com/shop/accessories/reserve-outer-containers

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo Před 4 lety +3

      I also quite like the Nova Montis, although it's not the same kind of harness as the EASINESS 3, which has more padding and features e.g. integrated reserve container. Personally, I find the EASINESS 3 far more comfortable; this is especially noticeable on longer flights. Each to their own!

    You mention this harness is good for XC. It didnt sound very convincing!

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo Před 4 lety

      The EASINESS 3 is surprisingly comfortable for a light hike&fly mountain harness--even more so than it's predecessor, the EASINESS--and they can be used for flying XC, however of course they are not as comfortable as harnesses which are designed with XC flying in mind e.g. full fat standard harnesses flybubble.com/shop/harnesses/standard-paragliding-harnesses and pod harnesses flybubble.com/shop/harnesses/pod-paragliding-harnesses

    • @flybubblecarlo
      @flybubblecarlo Před 4 lety

      Also a full-fat reversible harness like the Advance PROGRESS 3
      flybubble.com/advance-progress-3 is more comfortable and offers more protection and features.

    I'm a fan of your CZcams videos and a paragliding beginner.
    Because you seem to be a sensibel person to me who is valuing his health I'm wondering if you can tell me a bit about your attitude on the risks to get harmed in flying.
    What made me sceptic was reading this article:
    xcmag.com/magazine-articles/stewarts-story-living-life-injury/
    Please forgive my bad English but I'm from Germany...
