Super teacher, I've never seen a so detailed explanation of the MOVE instruction. All your videos on TIA are just the best. Peace :-)

In Rockwell when you used move a real to DINT. It converts the value the DINT in the output so TIA it is not the same.
Perfect. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I keep learning from you.

Thanks for the perfect video. Is there a so called "assign" function, like ":=" in SCL language? If yes, what is that, and what is the difference between "move" and "assign"? If not, can we say that it is an "assign" function?
I hope you got my question.

Thanks for the video. I have a question I hope anyone can answer.
I am using a counter with equal comparator to make my program run in sequence but I also want to skip to a different count value rather than waiting for it to increment. I have tried using the MOVE instruction to move the value to the counter but the counter value goes back to the value from where I placed the MOVE. In simple terms how can I start the counter at a value other than 0 and allow it to increment from that value?

Hello I like watching this plc programming . I'm just confused about move instruction in the context of The use memory bits such as %MW10.0 instead of move function .

My colleague uses the MOVE on bit values to say "1" = Done for the next station. I have a problem with it because it has to be the type integer... but it is used like a bit.
So I think the more correct way would be to use the type "bool" and a simple "SET" command to set something high. Thoughts anyone?

For me, I used the Shift instruction to tell the next station that "ok this is done now it's your turn"
