Fun fact: the Openings are all done by Mob Choir; a band that was specifically created to make Mob Psycho songs, and they're all fire.

as an mob psycho fan, nobody in this fandom can explain this story.
its about teenagers and middle aged men experiencing EXTREME character development. its full of lovable characters
ONE explained it as telling a big story about one little step. And almost all the characters experience dramatic character growth as they make it. It's wholesome and awesome.

I think that about 50% of these things will make a lot more sense after watching the first episode.
70% will make more sense after episode 3.
80% will make more sense after episode 5.
90% will make more sense after episode 9.

Opening 2 shows different family the of animation over the years first a kind of zoetrope like animation when the figures spun around and the started moving.
Then, a picket fence style animation where two lined images would be pulled across each other to make a moving image.
And finally, the modern layered computer animation used to animate the show (this is shown when Mob's face comes apart)

Pompadours are not a JoJo’s reference lol they usually signify the character is a delinquent. Thats how it was in Japan how ever many years ago. People who were in gangs or Yakuza or would imitate the style of the US Pompadour fashion. So yeah in anime it’s just a reference to that style, its now a trope.

Mob Psycho was made for the same guy of One Punch Man his name is ONE and is a great storyteller, both stories are "comedy", but have better action than most battle shonens and better reflections than seinens, the guy is amazing, he just can't draw.
There's fighting? Sure is. Some of the best animated to date, too.
Give this series a watch and you'll see.

Gegege no Kitaro (2018) Endings 1-8 recommendation! There’s a playlist on CZcams with all 8 endings and an AMV, if you like ending 8 the AMV called Gegege no Kitaro AMV (A.M.D.K.J) does the full song of A.M.D.K.J from SCANDAL, since the official Kitaro ending does only 1 minute. This song is a banger and the AMV is the best of both the full song and anime appreciation. Definitely consider the AMV if you like what you hear from ending 8.
SCANDAL also did openings 10 and 15 for Bleach.
Out of these Mob Psycho 100 ending 3 is my fav.

Did you guys know they are not really called LEGOs? LEGO is the name of the company, which btw, they did not create the blocks. Someone else started the idea and original builds of it but the blocks were not 100% true. The OG creator sent the idea to LEGO and they rebuilt it as a whole. Now no matter what, how big you build something, it should always be flushed. A little history for you guys. :)

Honestly I want to see a comedy anime based around what they’re talking about, where a guy just has schizophrenia. I am hero is kind of like that, although not really a comedy and also isn’t animated. Yet under ninja got animated, which was made by the same guy, so maybe there is still hope.

Psychopathy has nothing to do with multiple personalities, let alone dissociative identity disorder. People with multiple personalities don't therefore have problems with empathy and behaviour or vice versa. So "psycho probably means multiple personalities" is a pretty insensitive take. I know there wasn't much thought behind it and that's not what you intended to imply, so I don't hold it against you. But when it comes to things real people struggle with, it's exactly that lack of thought behind assumptions and remarks that's part of the problem, because it causes unfair stigma surrounding those topics. So I just want to raise that point to make you aware that it's potentially problematic.
Mob Psycho is an amazing anime made by the creator of One Punch Man. I highly recommend watxhing both in your free time, though Mob Psycho is more drama oriented.
