It is interesting to me that a lot of reactors are quick to dismiss Chilchuk’s POV. He has been very reasonable in his assessment of the situation. A lot of people die because they just push forward in their adventures without thinking if they can actually do it.

From what I understood Falin's and the dragon's souls somehow fused. She's her, but she's also the dragon. The master of the dungeon can control the monsters so he was able to call out the dragon and somewhat control her, but both souls are still within her body.

In the other episode, the mollusc in the sword trembled when near the sister. No doubt the reason they use livestock to do normal resurrections is because to use the monsters would make u part monster. Arguably these resurrected adventures might not ever be themselves after. No one said they go back in after a full reconstruction like that. I mean what if someone resurrected with livestock just became a farmer after because it "felt" more like "where they belong".

just wanna clarify in case no ones told you yet, but "dark elf" has nothing to do with skin color. all races in this world have just as much skin color variations as humans do. the anime just kinda dropped the term "dark elf" without really going into detail, but its actually just a myth that other races have about elves thats based on the stereotype of them being arrogant (paraphrasing here). i think the term has something to do with elves that use sketchy forbidden "dark" magic as well, which is why chilchuck accused marcille of being one

I forget if its mentioned in the anime but its like how Ogres aren't real. Its simply a halffoot fairy tale to scare kids to be wary of tallmen (Ogre is just the halffoot word for tallmen lol).

    • @gristen
      @gristen Před 3 měsíci +2

@@snuffsaid1703 we havent got to that part in the story yet, but i believe its trolls that are just a fairytale, not ogres. later on tho theres an oni character and since that word often gets translated as ogre in english, that means they are real.
edit: actually nevermind, i just checked the wiki and i guess its not a translation thing afterall. theyre actually just straight up called by the english word ogre in the japanese version

Some of this might be considered SPOILERS
but bc they used the dragon's flesh, part of the dragon's soul was mixed in with Falin. That's why she had more mana, stronger abilities. The elf only recognized the dragon soul in Falin rather than her as a person.
BTW he's male, & he's not a dark elf. Chilchuck uses the term but it's really just used by short-lived races like half-foot ppl & tall-men due to how cruel some elves treat them. Elves tend to look down on short-lived races like they're stupid children who can't understand important matters.

falin was both herself and the dragon, because she was revived with dragon they became intertwined. falin was herself until the elf came for the dragon because he (definitely a boy btw, elven men are very feminine) has control over the red dragon and that control was enough to overtake her

18:53 I think the spirits, seemingly the ones in the castle town area, are holding onto their sanity in the hopes their king returns. Whether how much they believe the Dark Mage’s claims that their King Delgal will come back, it’s so sad that they’re stuck in a set of circumstances in which they cannot pass on but they presumably loved their king so much they stayed sane for the off chance he’s back 😢

😭LOVED THIS EP, I also noticed somethin different between the subtitles I used and the ones in the video,
For example when macille is casting for me she was yelling “dispell!” Not “cancel!”
And and while the ghosts suddenly vanished without saying anything in this clip, in mine the ghosts were translated to “no need to fear” or something like that which I think adds more context to why they just disappeared.
Senshi also instead of saying Chilchuks “faint hearted” he calls him a “coward”
just watched ep 14 and AH, waiting for the reactions slowly

were you using the english [CC] subtitles on netflix or the straight up "english" subtitles, cause if you used the closed caption ones you were getting dub subtitles. the dub has made a few translation errors so i recommend not using the closed caption option if you dont need it

The Mad Mage is to this dungeon as Halaster is to Undermountain.
He exerts total control over its denizens and its construction.
    🔥☠️🔥
He just took back all the dragon meat including the parts that make up resurrected Falin.

The fact Falin has more potent magic, plus that strength against Laios, is most likely because 99% of her mass was provided by the dragon. Most mythologies say dragons have magic in the very fiber of their beings, so that's probably what's going on there.

get used to not knowing genders in this anime. the "dark elf" is a guy and so is the blonde half-foot in the next episode.

All male elves are twinks so I understand the confusion. But they also need to pay more attention to the subtitles cuz "he" was used multiple times.

@@catscanhavelittleasalamithey knew the elf was male because the characters kept referring to him as “he” but still were confused for a whole episode just because he looks androgynous which is funny but also like?? If the characters are using “he” then it’s obviously a male. 💀
