It Took SO LONG To Catch THIS FISH! 😮

Since coming to Japan I have wanted to catch one fish and that is the Sakura Masu. Last year time was against me, but this year I was determined that I would catch a salmon and finally we managed to catch one.
Fishing in Japan and salmon fishing especially is a long standing tradition and the eagerly anticipated run of the cherry salmon aka Sakura Masu has been in folk lore for years. I wanted to join this action and after a number of attempts both by boat and from the shore we managed to catch one!

@@japanesefishingadventures try going for many trips in search of an Atlantic salmon and blanking almost every time 🙈. Sea trout was similar size to that salmon you caught will be out in a couple of weeks.

I would have reacted like that if I caught a salmon.
Which might happen tomorrow in the lake district 😂 not quite Japan but if I catch one of decent size you will probably hear me from there 😂.
