    Thanks, buddy. This was a real tractor pull! The first thing I thought of was the poor nice lawn!! My buddy and I used to have a tug of war with our ATVs in our driveway. My dad wasn't very impressed when he came home. We both had the same size ATVs ( 250cc) but his was a 3-wheeler and mine was a 4-wheeler but for some reason, he could always out-pull me. Take care

    That was fun Ben. I bet on the RTV. The difference in transmissions alone is quite a bit.

    I had figured the 400 would win because it had off reading tires whereas the BX has turf. We have an RTV 500 2008 model. Any ways great video! Also our RTV’s 4WD is out sometimes because the CV axle pops out

    That’s fun! I’ve been kicking around getting a SXS. Would you recommend the Kubota?

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c Před 2 lety

      If I were to buy another SXS, I'd spend the money and get one of the many mini-trucks out there...more cargo/towing capacity, a cab, heater, and depending on the model you may find it to have AC as well.

    • @PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead

      @@wildbill23c I’ve thought about one of those!

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c Před 2 lety

      @@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead After owning a SXS I'd never waste that kind of money on another one. For what a SXS with a cab, heat, and AC costs I'd rather spend the money on a mini-truck and actually be able to drive it on public roads and not be restricted where I can take it unlike A UTV/ATV. The Yamaha Rhino 700 I had did ok out on the trails but its "Utility" functionality was horrible, and it would tear up your yard because the rear differential was locked all the time...at least Polaris and a few others got it right with a selectable locking rear differential, but the hauling, towing, and bed size limitations leave a lot to be desired on those SXS's.

      All depends on your needs, for work an RTV is top notch. Kinda slow and uncomfortable for trail riding. I think the Sidekick would be a good mix. Thanks for watching

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c Před 2 lety

      @@khtractors The sidekick is nothing more than a regular UTV, except you pay more because it says KUBOTA on it LOL. I'd never buy another UTV for the ridiculous cost, you can buy a compact pickup and do the same work. I've yet to run into any situation where I couldn't get my Ford Ranger where I needed to be. That's what replaced my UTV, I bought an 87 Ford Ranger for $800, 7 foot bed, street legal, seemed to suit my needs right now...one of the mini trucks would be a good replacement though, but much more expensive.

      It will be driving along and you’ll hear a clunk where it goes into 4 wheel drive then it will pop back out. The shift lever has no effect on it. I’d like to get it fixed but it would most likely be a big job. Thanks for watching

    Do you think the RTV would pull the same implements as the BX? I’m torn between purchasing a sub compact tractor and a side by side for gardening and food plots.

    • @khtractors
      @khtractors  Před 2 lety

      I’m not sure what implements you could really use on a RTV for gardening that would work good. I’d say the bigger RTV’s would out pull the BX. Personally for any plowing, grading or that style work a tractor is best. But hauling wood, riding around and various task such as that it’s hard to beat an RTV. Thanks for watching

    • @jeremyperry9256
      @jeremyperry9256 Před 2 lety

      Dirt Dog makes a line of ATV/UTV implements including a disc harrow, box blade, angle blade, landscape rake and a few others I’m probably forgetting. Obviously no PTO powered stuff, just pull behind stuff. I’m sure they don’t work as well as category 1 tractor implements do (probably not as heavy), but for gardening and food plots they might be okay. The UTV would allow more fun after the work is done than a tractor, but I don’t think it would ever replace a tractor.
