- I show you how to adjust my glasses if they are sitting crooked on your face. My frames have riveted hinges so they are easier to adjust than heat set hinges which are cheap and can be ripped out.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! One of my ears sits way lower than the other and it drives me nuts that my sunglasses are always lopsided. You can see one full eyebrow above my frames on one side but not the other. I just did this with my cheap gas station sunglasses and it worked!!!! AMAZING! You are awesome.

you just SAVED ME from repurchasing a pair of vintage Wildfox Bel Air sunglasses that sat crooked!!! They are refurbished vintage and beautiful, but sat crooked on my face.. I just fixed my crooked glasses. I thought my ear was crooked which it is. so I was wearing like this for years...but when I did what this man did. it straightens my glasses and now it looks straight! omg, thank you! I didn't have to go to glasses place.

Dude thank you, I recently snapped the frame around the lens on my glasses and I had to swap to my second pair which I never used because they would always look crooked on my face, I figured it was because one of my ears was higher than the other. But I just watched the video and put them on the table and noticed the temple is way higher on one side than the other, did the fix you just did and they look perfect on me now. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much 🙏 🙏🙏 I have one ear that is lower than the other and I have been struggling with lopsided glasses and sunglasses all my life. Now I know how to adjust my frames to compensate for that!! The only thing I will add to this is that if you have plastic frames like I do, use a hairdryer to heat up the area you will be adjusting - about 30-60 seconds of concentrated hot air should work. Try to avoid blasting the air on the lenses themselves...I think it could hurt any coating (e.g. anti-reflective) you may have on them.
i can't believe how long I was stuck on this. i kept trying to adjust the earpieces (toward the back) to fix the crookedness, it helped a little bit, but the major shift was the temples. my pair of glasses is both metal and plastic and the hinge is screwed onto the plastic part. so i had to heat up my frames (with warm water) toward the edge of the lens where my metal hinge meets the plastic part and it worked perfectly. finally!!!

I find this video helpful. But I wish he showed us in a slow motion, under a clear light what exactly he's doing. I mean I kind of get it, but the adjustment is subtle, therefore it's necessary. On the other hand, the above person is right to say that the frames should have been heated. Whenever you go for adjustments at an optician, they'll heat the frame first---and you don't want anyone to think that it's okay to adjust without heating. But in any case, the video is very helpful!!! Thanks, Cj Thomason.

I've been making eyeglasses for 11 years. If you google wood eyeglasses thats me I'm Sire's Crown. I developed a material that I use with wood to allow my frames to be adjustable. Thank you!!! I have metal frames and i adjusted like you sayd in 1:20 or so, it worked!! I used to keep trying to bend the piece around the ears but this is much easier to adjust just by a little bit!
