Another thing: really LOVE the extended footage here....just like being at the track, or at a simulcast.....I wish , as a fan, we could have many more videos like this. Horse racing needs to increase its exposure, not choke it off. For this is the way of sports, and business.
I've always said, gotta go to the track, in person, to really fall in love with horse racing. Off track betting facilities are really for the hard core gamblers. At least at DelMar, they draw good, young crowds..
This was definitely one of the highlights of 2015.....we saw true brilliance. It's a shame that American Pharaoh, a deserving champion obviously, is going to overshadow, potentially even drown out, all the other great horses like Beholder, like Runhappy, like Honor Code, etc etc.
Once she learned to rate off the speed, along with Stevens having more patience after his comeback, made her almost unbeatable! I would have bet her in the Classic, against American P. With both fists!! ♥️🙏🇺🇸
Another performance identical to this one at Keenland could make things, lets just say at least very interesting for American Pharoah in this year's Breeders Cup Classic, IMO.
