    "Goodbye Charity Tate"
This was a beautiful episode with a beautiful exit for Charity. You just had to know she wouldn't leave quietly, she went in and landed the Kings right in it. Jimmy and Sadie for all their sordid dirty business and marital problems and the rest for Paul Marsden's death. And the exit was great too with Songbird playing to close out the episode and Debbie deciding not to leave Emmerdale and all. Also, what gets me emotional is Debbie looking back at Charity when she leaves. What a great ending to a great story and a great character in Charity (for the next 4 years that is)

30:13 - 30:33 = There she goes again. Being selfish as ever.
That's the kind of person she is when she chooses to justify the trouble she has caused rather than accept any accountability of fault for it whatsoever. Sadie should've left well enough alone and let Tom and Charity be happy with each other. Instead she ruined it and in doing so ruined herself without so much as thinking about the consequences.
Now that's just foolish and rather idiotic if one must say so. And I do say so myself.
And furthermore, Sadie's motives as to why she prevented Tom and Charity from getting married were evidently clear. Not only was she jealous of Charity to the point of disliking her, but she herself proved to be just as much of a golddigger as Charity was. At least Charity had redeemable qualities for being a golddigger, whereas Sadie is just plain selfish from start to finish.
Well in future Sadie, don't spoil weddings just because you disapprove of it - just let it happen in future. FFS it is not rocket science to understand it here. It's as easy to learn as ABCs 123s put it together.

27:27 = Sadie claims she HAD to stop Tom from marrying Charity to 'show her the truth'.
Well let me put the truth in black and white then shall I.
Sadie did NOT do it for any legitimate reasons whatsoever. She did it simply because if Tom had married Charity then Sadie would no longer be the female authority of the King Family - Charity would inherit that position and thus Sadie would no longer be the one to do it.
    But so what?!?!?!
That's what Tom wanted to do in the first place. So it's not up to Sadie to decide to sabotage their wedding just because she disapproves of Charity to the extent of resenting her for supposedly being a golddigger.
Granted Charity was a golddigger, but then Sadie turned out to be exactly that as well and it was Sadie who proved to be far more worse between then. Plus it became clear as time went in that Charity's romantic affections for Tom were quite genuine whereas Sadie had played on his own gullibility and weakness.
If anything, Sadie is the golddigger who valued fortune more than family. She was the selfish one with the most selfish intentions because she cared for nobody but herself.
Sadie sabotaged the wedding for her own selfish ambitions and ensured that she'd be the only person who'd profit out of anything. Clearly that differentiated Tom's marriage prospects, but Sadie still went ahead with the sabotage for the sake of gaining money and power.
And as mentioned before, Sadie had certainly no rights doing what she did because it was never her decision to decide what was best for Tom and his marriage prospects. If Tom decides to marry Charity then let him. Because no matter how much people will disapprove of the women he'd be marrying, supporting one's happiness is the most unselfish thing to do and I'd rather they be more happy with their future prospects than allow what my personal perspective on the matter to outweigh it.
So well done Charity for getting revenge on Sadie. And well done Tom for finally realising that Charity was right and Sadie was wrong all along. Its just a shame they were never together in the end. Because if they had then Sadie's future shenanigans would never have happened up to the point where she'd split up the family and cause the deaths of threw people that would lead to the events of other disasters thay include Tom's death and its consequential aftermath.
