- I do love an Autumn DIY and in this weeks video, I am going to share how to sew fabric pumpkins. I am going for a farmhouse, cottage and rustic style for my pumpkins. I used different fabric like gingham, print and even velvet for my pumpkins. This is a perfect easy sew Autumn afternoon craft.

A friend of mine filled her house with fabric pumpkins much like these. She used plastic grocery bags to stuff them!

Beautiful pumkins, I go a little bit crazy in the autumn making pumkins and gourds, and I never seem to have enough of them 😂. I see the SUPERVISOR was in fine fettle, I love cat's innate ability to find the exact spot where you don't want them to be, and then proceed to sit on it as many times as they can get away with. 😂😂😂😂😂

We are in the Spring season now (South Africa) last week we were having temperatures from 33-40C.. Love the pumpkins but best of all I love your helper.
Love your cat. It never fails when it comes to a cat, put anything down that you want to work on and they must sit or lay upon it. When I would sew, mine always would lay in the middle of my fabric on top of the pattern while I'm trying to cut.

Very cute ! I have made a few pumpkins using a foam craft pumpkin, cutting a hole in the top , , and wrapping it with a leaf print dish towel , stuffing it into the hole as you go( takes about 2 minutes to do) and a pumpkin pillow using 2 orange dish towels. Love your ideas. ! tfs 💗💗💗 I live in Arizona and yes, its still warm here, with lovely cool evenings, but I had all of my Fall decor up, inside and out by September 1st :)

YES, it's been 90 degree F. everyday this week.😧 But I love these pumpkins. I just went through my fabric stash to find some Fall pieces to use. I have been making toilet paper pumpkins... and used sticks from the yard. But, I am now going to use the idea of wrapping them with twine!

I love them! These are some of the easiest cloth pumpkins to hand stitch! I'm one who hand stitches all of the time and I'm going to make some with some of my Mom's clothes that I have leftover from after she passed away! I just love Blondie's cute little butt and tail wagging while you're sewing! My cats will probably do the same, especially since there will be embroidery threat involved!! 😍❤💖
