Wilder is Wilder's downfall. Over rated and one of the only boxers in history that can't box at all and finally exposed that he isn't one and never has been the hardest puncher in boxing history. The good thing for Wilder is that he is still young and fairly physically unharmed and can now walk off into the sunset with millions and focus on real life and not the circus of what is the boxing entertainment business.

In certain respects, Zhilei Zhang reminds me of Primo Carnera, a freakishly large heavyweight of a by gone time (1930s) who made other heavyweight look lilliputian in comparison. He largely (pun intended) won all his fights by using his enormous size and weight advantage at a time when world Pro boxing was in its infancy, until he came across Max Baer a far more proficient fighter. Zhang has similarly knocked out and dispatched almost all his opponents, only to lose to some when he gassed out. But that's where the comparison ends, as Zhilei's potential was stunted, as well as was robbed by the system in China following his silver at the Olympics. And sadly when came here to the states, most of the promoters didn't think a Chinese fighter was worth the investment, despite his capabilities. (He is larger than even Tyson Fury despite his height advantage with a more compact frame. Like comparing Shaq to Yao Ming) I hope for his sake as well as for the sport to see him make the most of his very limited career window.
