I have no idea when I'll be able to come back down there, but it won't be soon enough! Ha!
Thanks Joe! Hope to run into you again soon!!
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner yes! Also, you gotta love spellcheck. I wrote that it’s a “purty” one and it changed it on me. 🤣
Hey great Vid'd !! my brother lives 3 hours away and we are going to make a trip to the crater of Diamonds and try going to find some Diamond 's then go to a crystal mine! this will be a first for us !!! we currently go to Alaska a few weeks per year for gold but this looks like a GAS !!!!! love all the tips ! if you have any more you like to share ?? we would be game . Great Job !! have a good day
For best chance at finding one, focus on volume of good material and plan out the visit. If you order a saruca and practice concentrating heavies, you will cut the material that you have to sort through and can practice before you get there, so saves a lot of time. Also, watch the weather and if there is rain, prepare for mud but also think about where gravel might be.
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner awesome thank you yes I will practice I know it took me a little time to learn panning gold Iwe will watch more of your vid's for sure and can you recommend a place to go for crystals thats not to far from there ! Thanks Dan
@@JohnsonfromWisconsin1232 there are several within an hour’s drive or so. Take a look at Joe Dadbod’s channel below, he is a good friend and has gone to several if the mines and made great videos of them. He also has several videos on diamond mining as well!!
@@TheArkansasDiamondMiner Awesome it started out with gold fever which I had some great experience as well but I’m trying to expand my horizons
@@JohnsonfromWisconsin1232 it’s like a drug😂😂
You found it on my birthday. How much is it worth?
Awesome! The value is highly debatable for rough diamonds. Most from the Crater of Diamonds are beautiful as specimens for collectors or mementos for tourists to remember their trip. For this, the value can range widely and not necessarily based on weight.
