- Today we head on down to the dealer and spend $130,000 in 1980's (a lot of money) on equipment. It was a tough decision but I think we made the right one. If any of you guys have any opinions on equipment put them in the comment section. We are currently waiting in UMRV to be finished so that we can go and officially start the RP server on that map. 4. Why is it called the Squad if it is only one person?
This channel started out as a couple of people as it moved to Farming simulator it just ended up being me (Grant). I now have my brother (Spencer) in some videos too so I thought I would keep the name "The Squad".
5. Can I play with you?
On most Livestreams, I keep a couple of spots open for people to join. The Livestreams are usually every Saturday at 5 pm Central Time. To join the live stream you must have every mod I use on that server. Most of the time I let you guys know what mods you will need for the livestream the day before (so Friday).

The 80s series is cool. We had a 1982 IH 1480 combine and a 1981 IH 1482 pull type combine that we pulled with a 2870 CASE think it was a 1978 or 79.

i bet that 1480 was a hell of a lot better than the deeres at that time. trust me i have a 1979 1460 and its way better than the 77/8820
Jett McIntyre it was and still is hahaha. We sold in the early 90s to a neighbour who runs 300 head of cattle. He pulls off just over 1000 acres with it every fall.
Okey, this series is going to be great and awesome. You could do a legacy series with this as well as the next generation take over in the modern time.

Glad to be in iowa over Christmas. Seen my mom and dad through the picture window as they still not having anyone in. I gotten AE dip, Casey's breakfast pizza 🍕, kum n go is a bit better. And stopped in Menards. Oh the things I miss about iowa. Tomorrow we head back 12hrs to Pa.

Squad love your videos. Play alot of FS19 myself PC and xbox 1. Some I seen for modding purposes it was hard to tell though from the video but a titan 2 john deere combine like the 8820 should have a green top on the cab. We had a 6620 with yellow top, then upgraded to a 7720 titan 2 it had a green top on cab. I can't exactly remember. But before the titan series should have a yellow top. We have been running a R52 for 8 years.

The Massey 4900 is a 350hp tractor, was built between 80-83, and retailed at $123k. $36k for a max 4 year old tractor that makes 350hp is dirt cheap lol
You should start in 1983 and then after each season go up a year til you get to 2020! You can trade in vehicles every so often as the years go on.

We have a 8440 and a 4440 on our farm. But they are just very lightly used cause we have a 7200r,9560r, and a 9620r also a 5303 witch runs a smaller auger.
