- Blackberry mulching is the secret weapon every garden enthusiast needs to tackle those stubborn blackberry plants. With its incredible effectiveness in controlling and suppressing their growth, blackberry mulching has become a go-to technique for gardeners worldwide. By covering the soil around the blackberry plants with a thick layer of organic mulch, such as wood chips or straw, you create a formidable barrier that inhibits their ability to sprout new shoots and spread. This method not only hampers their growth but also helps retain moisture in the soil, suppresses weed growth, and provides essential nutrients as the mulch breaks down over time. Say goodbye to the endless battle with invasive blackberries and hello to a beautifully managed garden with the power of blackberry mulching.

That blade great does a nice job on those blackberry bushes.
It sure does! They turn out to be really good investments but you can only squeeze so much use of of them before they aren’t good for mulching anymore.
@@golovinpropertyservicescan they be sharpened to be reused?
@@JeepArmyUSA Yes, that’s what I do. But after a certain point you would be wasting time trying to mulch with them once the teeth are ground down.
Nicely Done....
Thank you Paul!
OMG a wonderful cleanup keep your video's coming.
Thanks Beverly!
This growth would have taken over both the properties in a short amount of time. Good work.
That’s right, the vines were already creeping through the chain link fence trying to leverage it.
Very Good JOB David
Thank you Bill! 😁👍
Wonderful job done David.
Thank you Dassa!
Great transformation
Thanks Linda!
Nice and green
The rain came back, looks like we will have a luscious summer!
Amazing job!
Thank you Carol!
You do make that blade look good. Great job and thanks for the video.
I try my best. Thank you for watching!
I feel like blackberries would inherit the Earth given a couple of years unchecked.
Oh they sure would. They have taken over our side of the state in nearly 5-10 years. And for whatever reason they’re still clsssified as a class b noxious weed.
Wow!!!!! amazing work!!!!💞💕💘
Thank you! 😁👍
Another good one! Cheers!
Thank you Larry!

Thank you Martin! I always enjoy reading your comments, thank you for watching! 😁👍
Excellent! I sure could use you on some blackberries growing in the back corner of my yard.
Thank you Shirley! Well maybe if you’re not far we could work something out!
@@golovinpropertyservices, oh I’m far. I line in N.E.Georgia.
Autocut 36-2 with some Stihl .130mm line will eat through that like butter ✊🏾
Depending on the thickness of the vines, I use my .130mm on fresh growth, but mature vines are a lot easiest to handle with a mulching blade. 👍
It's what the origone blade does best ,mulch and volume reduction. Standard mower next time.
Correct, after the mulching you can basically use a regular string trimmer or push mower on these areas and as long as you maintain it, they will eventually die off.
You could call your channel Jericho by the way you cut down the weeds !!!
Haha, the walls came tumblin’ down!
What type of blade did u use?

What size brush cutter is thatn
This is the Stihl FS-240
Work until it's finished. Cut and leave trash. Unfinished form of work. If you want to provide free services, think about the consequences......if you're not ready, don't do it. Don't donate when your stomach is hungry, donate when you have had enough.
I’m sorry, but who said it’s unfinished and why are you assuming so much about the video?
Sounds like you need a reality check because not every video is the same on CZcams and you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
@@golovinpropertyservices The circumstances before and after that determine the quality of your work. My advice before you publish take the time to double check your edits. The public only pays attention to the initial conditions before you work, the process you work on and most importantly the final result of cutting the grass and cleaning it.
@@singaanom3305 This isn't grass cutting. It's mulching, it's a completely different category from lawn mowing and grass cutting. I'm not sure what part of the world you're from but your comment resonates that you don't have an understanding of how different parts of the world do things.
People in the southern states cut grass and never collect it, why? Because the grass clippings are recycled and will provide nutrients to the lawn once again.
The goal of mulching is to cut up the brush or in this case blackberriers. It is cut up into smaller pieces and all the way to the ground and is left to provide ground cover so that new vegetation doesn't grow as fast.
