This is true on so many levels. We live in a world where sadness is shown as a weakness. And because of that, we hide all that underneath a fake smile
We tell ourselves that we're ok, when we're not
We say we don't need help and we can do things on our own when we're helpless
We say we're happy when really we're suppressing all anger, hate and our problems. Big or small

It's unfortunate we lost Robin in 2014. Because this quote was basically true to himself, and many others out there. People don't want others to go into the same hole as them, but I just wish some held on. But this life is tough, and we have to deal with it and it's heart crushing we lost so many every year due to suicide. Losing Robin was unbelievable, he was very funny and it's hard to think someone like him died due to suicide...

A few months after I wrote this comment, my life started to get better (the power of the comment is no joke lol) Anyway, I love myself and life. Me too that. 2 months ago I was so full and wrote such a sad comment. But I'm fine now. I am a home person. I like to be alone, but I also like to have fun with (I have a few friends) I am 18 years old and preparing for the university entrance exam. It is either because one does not want to bother others, or, even worse and more oftenly the case, others don't give a damn. But then there is sad music, who does listen and also help. ❤
Being humans, we have biases. We go and find things that reinforce how we feel, what we think, how we act and respond. And confrontation isn't easy, change is a difficult and often onerous process. While we want to be happy, the change often required to do so and the effort demanded is something we tend to hide from.
I don't disagree with the prior comment, either. Seeking out help is only useful/beneficial if the help 'helps.' So to some, this is self-medication; a coping mechanism.
Sad music is an audible cue to cry. To cry is to filter out the toxins the brain produces. Those toxins or negative emotions remind you of current problems. Once your mind filters, you are grateful to the artists that indirectly relate to you. This filtering and gratitude gives you the strength and education to carry on in life. I like crying to sad music for such reasons.

This music actually hits me really hard. I had a last day of semester today, and I had to say farewell to my drama, professor, because I don't know when I'm going to see him. He was one of the kindest individuals, and always made me smile. He was one of those professors, who gave his life to his art, and dedication. So this music really gives my feeling a Soundtrack.

The past three years have been absolute hell for me... My grandpa passed away two weeks before Christmas in 2019, then my nonbiological grandma passed away a few days before Easter in 2020, then I lose three buddies that I called my brothers in a tragedy at an event due to carbon monoxide poisoning last year. During that same year, my mom's boss, whom I looked up to at times, passed away two days after my 20th birthday. Now, a nonbiological aunt is in the hospital for some time and the doctors don't know what's wrong with her. Sometimes I feel like I just want to end it all and get rid of my suffering, but a voice always calls out to me and reminds me that there's still much to live for. I'm still here because of my mom and the many friends I made during my 21 years of life. I'm still going forward because I realized that sometimes when you suffer, it doesn't always mean doom and gloom. It means that you're still alive and want to continue living. The more pain you feel, the more alive you will be. Although I hate pain and death, I've come to accept them because it's sadly part of life, but those two things are also the important teachers as well. So to those who are in the same spot as I am, don't give up on hope. There are people who truly do care about you. Life happens for a reason. Don't throw it away. Because eventually at some point, you might have to end up talking someone out of ending their life by sharing your own personal experiences. Remember, there are others who are going through a similar rough time, so always make sure to talk to them and help them out. You might end up saving their life because of it. To whoever reads this, always believe in yourself and never give up hope.

Because of David Goggins, this song always reminds me of his long journey and transformation from a weak guy to a warrior. It makes me think about my life and how I am also going through a transformation and a long journey. This journey will be incredibly long or infinitely long. An immense amount of suffering will come my way but I’m ready. The journey is life and trying to be a good person, and it’s a beautiful journey no matter how many times it will knock me down. Like him, I will always get back up.

Have you ever felt like the whole world was against you? Then you get these feelings that brings you down and you keep asking yourself the same question over and over on why your feeling this way? When you have times when you think everyone around you just thinks your just a worthless being? Then it comes down to loneliness not feeling like your going to be good enough to get anyone because you don’t even love yourself? That’s how I felt since high school where I ended up in some relationship that ended horribly. The one who just uses you cheats on you just dates you for a little bit just to bring you down even though you did nothing wrong. Then you have mix feelings . And now it feels like a non ending cycle day in day out feels like your day is just repeating itself over and over becoming duller and duller. Same job same life same habits rather if it’s bad habits or not . Not having a lot of motivation to get up to go to work. To not feeling like you got what it takes and have to keep reminding yourself that you have to find something that makes you happy. So you end up buying stuff but money can only take you so far the objects won’t make you happy for very long. Money will never truly bring you happiness. It still haunts me to think I may die alone. But this shall not stop me from trying to accomplish my goals but yet seems so far. For those who read this message and if you know what I’m talking about or going thu your worst moments keep going. Keep your head up. It will get better eventually. Even the small moments count

I had a bestfriend, we were so close, like were we incomplete without each other, always together, almost for 7 years, couldn't imagine our lives without each other.
And in all this, i fell in love with her, she was the world to me, i never expressed my feeling to her because i was scared if I'll ever tell her , she may get mad leave me....
Time went on and i never never had a chance to tell her how much she ment to me... and one day, she got in an accident, doctors were sure she won't make it, she was in coma for weeks and when she wake up i was there for here, and she said that she feels the same way as i do, and then she was gone.

Personally I believe death is not the end of life, its just the beginning of a new life, she is in different realm now...she can watch you, she can feel you, while watching you broken, she can feel your pain...trust god and everything will be okay.

I am one of those people and I hate to see others suffer as I have suffered and would give my life just for them to be happy and live a life with no pain but I know that I can bare the weight and must keep marching on until the day comes that the weight is taken off my shoulders and I am taken home.
Yup, that's true. Idk why, but that is what I'm doing all the time. It's sad to see somebody else is suffering, so I'm willing to help my friends and now I'm just sad and none of them is trying to help me. I'm just so confused, like am i doing something wrong to them ?

I lost my Russian teacher. He was one of the best people I've ever met. I remember sometimes he used to be like "Screw Russian, I have to teach them lessons". He taught me so much, I never saw his value when he was with me. We truly understand the value of something, when we lose that. Gone, but never forgotten

My dad got cancer with me at age 8. The cancer left for a while. But it came back. He died a few years later when I was 11.. I miss him so much.. the last words I said to home were “you don’t love me”.. but now I know he does.. my words to you are, don’t say anything mean or rude to your parents. This is making me think of my granddad. He was a great man, he never gave up on anything, always tried a different approach to the same task if something didn't work out. He made me a cot when I was younger for my toys and I still have it at 18, it's a memory for me.
