This made me cry a bit. Because well It brings back memories of my parents when I was a child and they would read me books before bed and they would rub my back. You made my day.❤️
This was me about six years ago
Stop it you’re gonna make me cry, I just remembered I was six and upset for whatever reason and my mom read me the story of the Mother Hen working to make bread for her chickies… I miss being a kid
I loved this! I watched Matilda lots when I was younger, it was some of my first memories of asmr as a kid! I love the part when she’s telling the glass to tip over that gave me so much tingles lol.
Me too I still watch it now and again

You have a perfect ASMR reading voice :) On a side note, I've always loved Quentin Blake's illustrations, here in the UK he produced some drawings for public safety pamphlets, specifically related to rail travel. There's one image in particular which I can vividly remember, a decapitation with blood comically spurting out of the neck, pretty dark but I'm sure it taught many a youngster not to lean out of train windows lmao.
My favorite!! This was the first book I ever read cover to cover, on my one! It’s still a go-to for me, even all these years later! Thank you!! 👏🏼🙌🏼

You know, I don't think I've read this book in more than 15 years. It's one of my favourite Roald Dahl books, up there with Fantastic Mr Fox and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Another absolutely wonderful video. I love whispered reading videos! I've never read the book, but I watched the movie a bunch as a kid

Best ASMR for sleeping
So I rediscovered that reading was one of my ASMR triggers from listening to a recording of a play in English class today. What play was it!
The Crucible. Of all plays.
I’m doing my first night of Matilda the musical on Monday, this was very relaxing and nice to get me in the mood!
