- When Bill's Driver goes on holiday and his dad arrives to take over it doesn't take long for Bill to realise that his driver has forgotten how to drive engines!

It's nice to see that the crews are as much on board for the twins mischief as themselves. After all it was the crews that helped Bill and Ben trick BoCo. As for the temporary driver that was very heart-warming. Nice build of character showing he was a skilled driver in his day and just needed a bit of rekindling to be skilful again after not driving for manys a day. Wonderful premise and closure.

Random idea: What if this a few years after Mid Sodor closed down and Bill’s driver’s dad actually drove Duke? It’s that line, “watch the track, not the view.” It reminded me of the story “Bulldog.”

Extension to your idea: What if Duke had a similar accident to Falcon in ´Bulldog´ a few years before Falcon arrived which would explain where both of them get their words from.
Cloud Duke says "nevermind the view, look at the track"
I honestly think that Bill's Driver's dad drove Falcon/Sir Handle. After all, while Duke said the line, Falcon was the one who had the accident.
I thought about that episode as well when that line came up.

What a nice story! I love the idea of the crew being as cheeky as their engines; it certainly explains how they get away with some of their antics! The old driver's story was quite touching too.

That was a superb episode. We see Bill's driver's father coming to work was an unexpected surprise for me to see. Loved the challenge at the yards and how Bill came to Ben's rescue ☺.

It's nice seeing a video of the twins not getting into a lot of trouble, but instead being helpful and kind. Bill was the star of this show!
Wow, didn't expect things to go the way they did! Thought the story would end with Bill's new driver getting better, but the race and Ben's driver screwing up were major plottwists that I didn't expect!

Bill and Ben have swapped whistle sounds. That’s because in a few scenes, their whistle sounds are switched round by mistake.

When the ivor the engine kicks in i al ways think of
"At the mid west part of sodor there was a shed, inside theres toby the tram"
That's fair I picked it for this story because of the quarry but Toby could work too
I have an idea for a episode: The new owner of the Barrow Scrap yard receives an old steam engine that had been left in an abandoned rail yard in northern England years ago when the yard and the line it worked on closed down. Realizing he could make more money by selling the engine for restoration and possible preservation then he could with scrapping it , the owner puts the word out. Word of course reaches STH who upon learning that the engine is an express engine and realizing that there needs to be an extra engine to handle the Express as the express is getting to heavy for Gordon, Henry and James and that it needs to be split into two sections, buys the engine on the spot. The engine whose name is Hercules is brought to Sodor and restored. However things aren't exactly coming up roses. It turns out that many years ago there was a Wrecker (someone who intentionally causes train wrecks) on the mainland who took to targeting Hercules and his express train, causing Hercules to have accidents. Eventually his driver decided to take matters into his own hands. One night Hercules was nearly wrecked, but his driver stopped in time and he and the fireman chased the wrecker into the woods and brought him back. The driver then brought the man into the cab and restarted Hercules. After awhile, the driver then knocked the man out with a shovel and tossed the wrecker into Hercules's firebox where he became "fuel". Hercules found out later when while getting his firebox cleaned, the cleaner found charred bits of bone and teeth in the ashes . Since then Hercules has been haunted by the wrecker's ghost. The ghost returns shortly after Hercules is fired up for the first time. Eventually Gordon tells Hercules he should face the ghost which Hercules does. Realizing that Hercules is no longer afraid of him and has put the trauma behind him, the ghost looses his power and dissolves into nothing
Pretty niche, and better than I expected! It's both a great Bill and Ben story, and stellar at exploring the human arcs between the drivers. Wonderful! Regards, Samuel Farris.

@@BrendamProductions It´s just got a Brenner feel to it and season 20 was the best season of that era in my opinion. Also the ´Bulldog´ reference is the sort of thing I can imagine the Brenner crew adding as a bit of fan service and also to get fans all hyped up for a possible Duke reappearance.
Great story - nicely 'human.' First time I've seen Bill and Ben - a bit like Tweedledum and Tweedledee! And I like the very detailed, active graphics too. Lots going on to see and enjoy.

4:48 Bill's got Ben's whistle sound. Their whistles were swapped and were wrong on G.W. Shunter's SFX Folder, but now they're right.

Neil Crone & Kevin Frank should make Bill and Ben sound similar to Splatter and Dodge
from the very first Thomas movie - Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

I felt that a scene where he was told off on screen by the fat controller would be out of place and kill the pacing. Hence why instead there's a final part that says Ben's driver learnt his lesson

Oh do you mean personally? If you mean video wise for me these days it's quite good the general aim is every 2 weeks but that's a general aim if I have way more motivation to make models than videos :)
