Please keep in mind not to generalize other people & groups, even if you are doing it in a nice way. It’s still a stereotype nonetheless and can be harmful, especially when people don’t match up to certain expectations ^^

@@lauren23160 I think they're referring to certain makeup influencers who use drag-queen/stage style makeup - so thick that it looks like a mask. Good for the camera and the stage, generally, but they popularised it for daily wear in the 2010s - that's fine if people like that style, but the amount of people that didn't realise how they looked irl and then freaked when they did... 😅

I’ve finally found it. The most satisfying video on the internet. I love the attention to detail. I am a perfectionist so watching this attention to detail is bliss for me. You can tell that he’s even gone to the extent of taking shallow breaths so that his breathing is quiet. Incredible work.
And notice how he adjusts his positions with care for the camera, but still gets the visual perspectives that he needs!

I love how considerate he was and how he did her makeup with care and paying very close attention to details.
He also gives makeup tips which is like a private makeup class with him and really enhancing his client's facial features and not just copying other celebs 10/10
I love seeing the passion in his not-so-little tap-tap-taps of the sponge. Doing people's makeup is so therapeutic as well; it takes creative genius and it's a lot of methodology. You learn so much about consistencies of product, viscosity, how different bases react with eachother and layer, correlate what coverage spectrums go with what tools, learn what blending motions and pressures create what textures and so on so forth. I see all this regard in his work. Even the skincare is crucial- you don't want to strip the skin of too much oil if it's more sensitive or dry- but you still want a smooth surface. Some people with oily skin still like a dewy look- so in what steps and in what ways will you achieve that whilst achieving the best longevity and least oxidation of the makeup?

I know that in Korea the beauty standards are very high. This woman is so pretty. Even before the makeup she has such cute and elegant features. If anyone has ever said anything mean about her appearance I just don’t even understand it. I’m American and I think she looks perfect 💕
Also I agree with the other comments. This man really is an artist. As someone who has a BFA, he is literally treating her makeup the same way I might go about painting a portrait of someone, testing and mixing colors to find which are best, using small little strokes and then blending, alternating different types of brushes. It’s so cool to watch. He’s so gentle too. I can only imagine how relaxing it must be to actually get your makeup done this way.
Korea’s beauty standard is a nightmare. Anyone who’s not pretty or normal gets lots of pressure, over 90% Korean have plastic surgeries and some even suicided because of the pressure… There are documentaries and mini movies about it.
@@user-bi8ko7kc6h yeah. I know a little bit about that. personally I’m American, and we complain a lot about ridiculous beauty standards here. I think that they actually are pretty high. Models with thin waists but still big boobs and wide hips and a round butt, cut jawlines and cheekbones, big lips, like 0 body hair, no wrinkles or pores. But tbh, when I look at Korean beautify standards I’m glad I’m American.
Tbh, they’d probably rip me apart just for the fact I’m overweight alone. At least in the US body positivity is like a whole movement and so the insults I get aren’t that bad. I’ve definitely still had a few tossed at me but I can’t imagine what chubby girls in Korea must face. I feel so bad for them.

He is the best. Literally the best makeup artist you had in your channel..
the care of his work is really something else. the only but I find is again that everyone in Korea misses taking care of the neck and mach the color with fundation. Then the pictures end up being a mess. Specially with flashes. But I think it's like a normal thing in Korea. Everyone forgets about really matching the real skin tone. They always tend to go at least 2 shades lighter with their fundation.
I also adore how respecful he was using a good mask that actually fit his face and protect you when you have him so close and talking so close to your face.
the only thing that was not sanitary to me was that he was taking the lip color direct from the applicator putting the brush he was using in your lips direct into it. In the times we live that is not sanitary at all. He should have put the color in a plastic palet and take it from there with the brush. This is the way he should apply the products. With lip pincels well they can cleaned them but with the lipstick there is a plastic palet for it. Same with shadows and brush.

디테일이 다르긴 하네요.. 웨딩메이크업샵 고를때 받아보면 제 퍼스널컬러 이런거 신경 안쓰고 공장식으로 코랄, 과즙미 있는 뭔지
아실 거에요.. 모 메이크업 아티스트가 항상 그런 느낌으로만 웨딩메이크업을 했는데 첨에는 그게 예뻐 보였는데 그게 트렌드였는지는 모르겠는데 대체로 다 그런 컬러감으러 해주시더라구요;;
암튼 흔히 봐왔던 웨딩메이크업 느낌이 아니라서 잘 봤어요!
저도 저 스파츌라 쓰는데 진짜 엄청 얇게 발려요.
브러쉬 처럼 세척 할 필요도 없고 최고예요 ㅋㅋㅋ
