고려대 하나스퀘어 Korea University HANA Square

서구 대학들이 일찍이 캠퍼스에 별도의 주차장 건물을 두어 주차 문제를 해결하고 있음에 반해, 국내 대학은 급속도로 늘 어나는 주차 수요 탓에 지상공간의 상당 부분을 주차장으로 내어주는 문제에 봉착했습니다. 하나스퀘어는 이런 문제를 해결 하여 고려대학교 자연계 캠퍼스 지하에 약 6,000평, 526여대규모의 주차공간을 확보하고, 주차가 사라진 지상공간에는 녹지 휴게공간을 조성하여 학생들에게 보행 중심의 편안한 휴식공간을 제공하고자 건립된 캠퍼스 센터입니다.
While universities in the West deal with parking problems by constructing parking garages on campus, universities in Korea allocate considerable land for parking lots. Hana Square is a campus center which is designed to secure about 6,000 pyeong of parking space that can accommodate approximately 526 cars in the basement of the life science campus at Korea University, while providing a green resting area on for students.
