So, here's what the rulebook says on this: "For the purpose of game balance, all rules and game elements introduced in LoME are meant to be added in their entirety to every War of the Ring game. Using separate elements is certainly possible, but can alter game balance. Alternate Companions may be included in the game or not, at the players' discretion." That last part is talking about the Council of Rivendell.

Great video. Can the balrog and the army he is with also use standard shadow dice to move/engage in combat like any other minion?
Can you move the balrog with an army with a normal dice like banner or sword, or you need the balrog dice?
Does smeagol need to be used if i use all other parts of the expansion? i dont like his fiddly rules
