I like this concert series. There is this Lifesize cardboard Michael Jackson prop at the gas station around the corner from my house. It has Pepsi on it with Michael in his "Bad" outfit posed on his toes while singing in the microphone. It is sooo enigmatic that kids always notice it when they come in the store. I know it's from the 80's, and I think it's cool that they still put that up in the store.
The Rome European premiere of the Bad World Tour was always special. I remember reading the rave reviews of those shows in anticipation of his visit to Sweden. It's clear by watching this video that Michael was giving something extra in Rome 1988. Spectacular show.
There have been a ton of great solo artists, but nobody will ever be better than Mike. His singing, dancing and live shows were amazing. People would faint if they got within feet of him and hundreds would pass out at his concerts. Can anyone name another artist or band that would cause their fans to cry hysterically?
I love that after the music stopped at “and if I stop” and the audience filled the silence by finishing the last lines. I found that just wholesome and adorable.

He’s in complete control of the stage and band. On the Live at Wembley footage you can see where he subtly gives hand signals to indicate how many beats he wants to synchronize. Brilliant!

i never understood why they never released so many concerts on dvd..bluray..whatever..to buy the footage. Instead of that we see this masterpiece for free on youtube ..incredible....the best yers of performance and style....bad and dangerous! Even now they can remaster it and fi the sound and colour and image and boom you have a masterpiece! i dont know why... this man was an entertainign miracle back in the days and if you watch him he still stands at the top in 2023.
