@j.r.3945 I hear you. We need a #1 wr. I'm just saying that the Giants have failed to put together a competent offensive line in over a decade and it's by far the most important element. If we don't fix it in free agency they will have to use the draft. I think personally that they need to go get a QB more than anything in the draft. Still won't matter who we get if the line isn't fixed

Is there a pre- check motion or some type of communication between QB and receiver, saying I got this dude beat, because of the coverage.. or does the QB, alone, have to recognize that the CB is playing, let's say, outside leverage, before throwing the ball...
If we cant get one of the top3 QBs the pick has to be Nabers in my eyes.
We got him
1. He's fast.
2. He fools his enemies into moves by using the right mixture of tempo and fake movements.
3. He just will fight through a tackle, never leaving any 4-5 yards on the table because such small margins can make the difference between a touchdown or not.
Man he's good. He seems to have high game IQ. That’s my amateur opinion.

Id rather draft a 4-7th round qb than draft a maybe in the 2nd. You can get top tier talent in the 2nd this year

I like Nabers. I just don't see him making it past San Diego. Unless, the Chargers trade out of the 5th pick. Speed kills and he has plenty of that. The Giants, with Nabers, Hyatt, Robinson, Hodgins, and Slayton could have a good mixture of speed, and experience. If Nabers is not there, I would like us to trade down. I think Mitchell, Franklin, Bowers and even Odunze could be there between 10 and 15.
Malik nabers is mixture of Jamar chase and Justin Jefferson nabers breaks tackle from the first the defender and has great yac like Jamar chase does💯

He has a ton of free releases and played a lot in slot. There’s a lot of projection with Malik where jr and Odunze are easier to see they will be successful. I could see Malik being a bust but also being like Justin jefferson
He has free releases because the DB's are honoring his speed. That's football 101. Now in the NFL, he'll get pressed but that'll just be something he has to work on if it looks like he struggles with that coverage. But because of the speed and the fact he can actually run routes, it opens up the whole route tree.
As good as Malik is, I dont think theres a world he thrives in new york. If the giants can land him at 6, that most likely indicates Daniel Jones leading the offense in 2024. As we have seen, Daniel does not throw the contested catch or really, the deep shots. He doesnt throw with much anticipation or throw guys open at all. Daniel does fine with finding the open guys (sometimes) but you really have to have a separater at WR1 for Daniel to be able to lead a good offense
Pretty much eliminates the Giants from picking every WR in the draft.

I don’t count a lot of those deep catches because he only managed to get 1 foot down I know that’s a catch in Colledge but in the NFL those are incompletions

Can’t believe I’m watching the same thing as y’all. This film looks great for college but it will not work in the league. His acceleration, size and hands is solid but the route running and separation will be an issue for him.

If Josh Ezeudu can play right guard, I still think we should try sticking Neal next to Thomas on the left side and try to draft a right tackle in the 2nd round to learn with Ezeudu…Take Nabers/Bowers round 1. And a CB with the other 2nd round pick. We know Ezeudu can play anywhere on the line so I’m not worried about him at RG… let Neal play inbetween our 2 best lineman and pray 🙏

As a Giants fan and an LSU fan, watching this film breakdown just me nervous. I really want Jayden but that’s improbable at this point, I’d love to have Nabers but I feel like he’s going to be wasted if Jones is the qb.
Every single one of our receivers last year had their best days without Jones on the field. With all of those receivers available for Jones, he somehow managed to throw 0 touchdowns to Slayton, Wandale, Hyatt or Waller.
Please,Joe Schoen, don’t make us have to watch Nabers not produce because of qb play.
Not taking someone because Daniel Jones will be QB for another year is bad process
@@TalkinGiants I’m not saying not to take Nabers because of Jones, Nabers is a stud and we’d be fortunate to get him at 6 but that doesn’t mean that he’ll be productive or as productive as he could be because Daniel Jones has failed to truly elevate or get the best out of any receiver he’s played with. Your channel makes film reviews going over the constant neglect of holeshot throws, throws down the field, throws that are leading the receiver instead of being underthrown.
I’m of the opinion that we don’t have a receiver problem, we’ve had a qb problem, Tyrod Taylor proved it, again, all of our receivers produced better numbers with everyone but Jones.
@@John_TalksGiants Jones did not even have Andrew Thomas after game 1, so it's silly to compare his performance to that of TT and DeVito, who at least had a more competent OL during the second half of the season.
@@occamnj look, I love this team, I hate having to say this shit but why is always everyone else’s fault other than the 40 million dollar man? You’re supposed to elevate those around you, deal with subpar circumstances and still win games. He hasn’t done that and he embarrassed this team/franchise by not scoring a touchdown for six straight quarters to start the season. We then got one really good second half and absolutely nothing else. Meanwhile other teams with worse rosters can score touchdowns on a more consistent basis because they get much better quarterback play which then elevates guys around them. Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith both played way better than Jones and they make far less. Daniel Jones shit the bed this year.. I don’t want to hear about who he didn’t have, he’s supposed to make it happen.

Daniel Jones sucks.
He doesnt look that fast maybe 4.5, and his routes r not real crisp. At 6 i want 4.3 speed and crisp breaks. Nfl cbs cover him no pblm.
First of all anyone with eyes can tell by his film that he was a low 4.4 at least. He ran a 4.35 at his pro day so he's prob 4.38 in the 40...so he's faster than all the WR1s in the NFL except Hill, Chase, and DK...you a bozo. And btw the analysts said that same bs about Chase not being a good route runner too.
I really hope Cardinals trade to a non Giants team. I think Chargers are taking Nabers no matter what because they already have Quentin Johnston at the "X".
