I like this a little better than a similar recently released deck that is very "busy". Enjoy the art, but it can be difficult to read with. I'm also intrigued by some of the keywords! I hope the guidebook explains how they're related, because I"m pretty sure I'll get this. Thank you for the great review!

Hey Anne, love the video, I believe that the 4 of wands has a typo, I think it’s meant to be Home and Hearth and I think the folklore and mythology behind it is Greek Goddess Hestia whose domain was the home and hearth. It could also be Vesta which is the Roman version of Hestia or it could also be Celtic goddess Brigid who is also associated with the Home and Hearth. The Hearth is essentially a fire place, it’s where families would gather in ancient times for warmth, they would often tell stories at the Hearth and the Hearth was also the place where the meals where cooked. Nowadays, as we no longer have a hearth in the home, the hearth represents the place where the family gathers such as the living room and the kitchen.

You are correct, I used the Scottish for Home. We say Hame and they did want to change it but I asked for that to remain as the Scottish :))

I love this deck! The ONLY thing that bothers me is seeing that same white girl face over and over and over … it got more interesting when I saw the cards that depict other races and skin tones, different angles, etc. Would have liked to see more of those. ❤
