1:28...Zuckerman's daughter and his famous pig! Zuckerman's daughter is saying to Wilbur: Charlotte says you are some pig. You also won first prize at the fair. Wilbur, Charlotte's right. You are some pig. You are also a winner. And I am proud to be your friend! The original Charlotte's Web movie from 1973: One of the best animated films ever, in my book! 2 thumbs way up for Wilbur!
I may not have been born until the turn of 2000, so this is WAAYY before my time, I still have memories of it from when I was really little like it was just yesterday (I'm a young adult, 20,) and in college now! How time flies! These end credits actually used to scare me before bed
@@WillCWilson it was the placement of the words at the very end, and the way the high pitched vocals ending sounded...and the silent logo right after all that with the fact that other than the tv in my room its dark black everywhere else in the house, the dark is a bit scary, ominous and foreboding
The movie was shot in open matte but for theaters it was cropped to 1.85:1 and the Widescreen DVD is in 1.78:1 I wonder what it'll be if they release it on Blu-ray.
On the 1994 VHS 📼 release of this movie 🎥 the 1990 logo plastered over the original logo as seen here but the original logo is retained with the custom theme intact at the beginning.
For "Charlotte's Web" fans, my imagination has concluded a sequel to the 1973 movie version: "Miracles Do Happen". it may or may not capture the heart and soul of the original, but it's WAY better than "Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure". It begins with Nellie, Joy and Aranea writing a message in their web: EVACUATE. Everybody evacuates, including the Arables and Zuckermans. As Wilbur wondered why Charlotte's daughters wrote the message that made the farmers leave, a massive flash flood triggered by intense rainfall destroys the farm. Now, Wilbur, Templeton, and Charlotte's Daughters must move to a new farm to live in, in Alaska. When Nellie, Joy, and Aranea got burned lifeless by a forest fire, their spirits meet their mother Charlotte who concludes a mission to save Fern and other cancer-stricken children in Anchorage, Alaska, with a miracle-performing crystal named Easter's Eye. When back to life, Charlotte's daughters give Wilbur a mission to take the crystal and give it to the sick kids to save them. Along the way, Charlotte's daughters grow up, and Nellie falls in love with a male hobo spider named Fico T. Agresto. Wilbur falls in love with a female pig named Avenue. Charlotte's spirit takes in the spiritual form of the Northern Lights and strengthens Wilbur and his friends on their quest. As they travel, Wilbur and the others battle bloodthirsty wolverines, powerful orcas, and the legendary Bigfoot. Sadly, Wilbur dies protecting Nellie, Joy, and Aranea from an Alaskan blizzard, freezing to death. Fern and the kids are cured of cancer via Easter's Eye the miracle crystal, which performs another miracle not only to bring Wilbur back to life, but also to lengthen Nellie and Fico's lifespan far longer than a spider should live and raise their own children in the Pacific Northwest. Joy and Aranea die after making their eggsacs and go with their mom Charlotte in Heaven. Wilbur takes Aranea's eggsac with him in his new Alaskan farm, while a religious church owl named Virgil takes Joy's eggsac to a new church back in Maine. In the end, Wilbur and Avenue's new son, Barkworth, is born. Farmer Zuckerman doesn't have a daughter. The only girl related to him is Fern, and Fern is niece.

Probably because of the loud music and singing.
The Paramount Pictures logo at the beginning of this movie scared me. Lol I thought I was the only one

I used to get creeped out by end credits in general.

Rest In Peace Richard M. Sherman. May he reunite with his brother Robert B. Sherman in heaven. 😢💐

The author of the book this movie is based on went to my family’s namesake Ivy League school: Cornell University!

I assume this is an open-matte print of the film?
Yep.
My big sister is going vegetarian thanks to this movie
1:33 Do you see what that says? It says copyright 1972 which should be 1973 because it's wrong.
That's a little weird.
That’s because it finished production that year and was given that year’s copyright. It is not an error.
