I passed my clep! For anyone who is taking college composition modular: the first 9 questions are like editing a sentence, and then it gives you maybe 4-5 passages to edit, then it go into reading and using sources (such as citations), then senteces and paragraphs again. There are 90 questions and you can mark your unfamiliar question so you can go back and see. Good luck!!
I passed the CLEP, this video really helped, you all really should learn how to read and write citations though, they are important, learn what each part of a citation means because it’ll ask you for the publisher, the date of publishing, the author, the editor and more
I wanted to let everyone know that watches the video, that I used this video to study and I passed my exam. I also recommend the natural science video provided by this source if planning on taking that clep as I used it as well to pass that exam. I am now going to begin studying for the Social Science and History exam and I am safe to say that I trust Mometrix with their study material.
Congratulations! That's great news! We are so glad you are finding our material useful. We also have great study guides on our website at www.mometrix.com!
I passed this exam yesterday. As of right now, the exam is 90% paragraph editing. Finding the right way to form a sentence and use of proper words. Almost ALL the questions were "read this paragraph and choose the best way for sentence "x" to be re-written." Hope this helps.
Hello, I will be taking this CLEP soon. Would you say this current video was helpful knowing that the actual test was 90% revision? Thank you in advance.
I am only an incoming Junior HS student and I'm taking this test tomorrow. I've watched this video twice. WOH! Feeling so nervous right now plus this is my first time taking a CLEP. Thanks Mometrix! I just hope i pass this test.
Just passed my clep test. This video was a great help! I highly advise watching this video a few times and using the college prep test study guides, if you have them readily available to you, before the test. I only studied for 6 hours before the test and I honestly barely passed but that’s because I have severe test anxiety when it comes to timed tests and I answered the last 20 questions without even really reading them because I would’ve ran out of time. So if you’re good at skim reading and taking standardized test, with a few hours of studying you will pass for sure.
@@numberone2676 no but I should’ve. Come to find out the one I took is an exact duplicate of the English comp 1 class I already have so I need to clep something else.

Hello:) Thanks for the video. I have a question for you concerning the clause at 14:00. Shouldn't "that" be changed to say "which" when used as a nonrestrictive clause? Please correct me if I'm wrong; I'd love to learn the answer (this point confuses me🤔)!

Hi! I'm confused because what's the difference between college composition and composition modular? I heard you don't need to write an essay if you are taking the composition. Is that correct?
You will have to speak with an academic advisor at the college you will be attending for more information about their requirements. Agreed, the topics don't seem to be in any particular order which makes it a little hard to follow. If this video was an essay, I would send it back for revision.
