For the last 3 days this song has been playing over and over in my mind. It has brought me a lot of peace in the midst of challenges. I have asked dozens of people to help me identify the composer, and finally tonight in a Zoom chat someone gave me this link. I am aware it is a message to me to "just flow" with pure love. What is it about this music that is so special?
Paul de Senneville is the composer!!!
In 1976, he was invited by Olivier Toussaint, a French record producer, and his partner Paul de Senneville, to record a gentle piano ballad. De Senneville had composed this ballad as a tribute to his baby daughter, Adeline. The 23-year-old Pagès was auditioned along with 20 other pianists and got the job. "He was an interesting musician with a soft touch and good technique", said Toussaint. "And he looked good, too".

J'ai commencé à écouter Richard clayderman. nom de scène Philippe pages en 1977..j'avais 11 ans. J'étais seule enfermé dans ma petite chambre sans vie. Interdit de sortir. Petite fille battu. Il m'a redonner goût à la vie.. avec son piano. Je rêvait d'un monde meilleur. Sa musique me faisait vraiment oublier mes douleurs physiques et mentale. ❤❤❤. Merci infiniment de me transporter depuis tant d'années avec vos accords de piano. Vous avez toujours été un excellent musicien qui laisse transcrire ces émotions dans sa musique 🎶. Merci ❤❤❤du fond du cœur. Richard clayderman. Aujourd'hui 59 ans je vous écoute sur CZcams très souvent. Je n'ai ni l'argent ni la santé de pouvoir aller à Paris vous voir jouer en vrai 😢😢😢.

I have just listened to half a dozen renditions of it and do so frequently.
It does come in for some criticism but I like it and that is all that matters to me.
Written by Paul de Senneville. of course, although it was Richard who brought it to everyone's attention and it is usually ascribed to him.
When Richard Clayderman plays piano, the angels in Heaven pause to listen.

For over 50 years Richard Clayderman has been bringing joy to the masses with his beautiful beautiful piano music.
My closest grandpa died 2 days ago, he was in the hospital for like 4 days before the tragedy, and my heart broke so bad when I noticed that on his phone on spotify this was the last song he was listening, and it is so beautiful and I just wish to tell him how good this music is and just listen to it along with him. I can't express how sad I am right now just imagining him listening to this music in the hospital alone while being scared and suffering, he was like a close friend and now he's gone, sounds weird that me a 23 years old man was a close friend with his 69 years old grandpa, but we were and we really enjoyed seeing each other, he was such a good person and even he used to tell the others that I was like a friend for him and not just a grandson.
I'll listen to this song till my last day of existence and I think I'll cry everytime I hear it.
I comment this here because even tho we both knew how much we loved each other, I still have the feeling that I need to tell him one more time. Please if you really love your grandparents, go tell them right now and make sure they remember it for ever, share everything with them and make sure they never feel uncomfortable with you.

I remember when I bought my first cassette tape player in 1977. There had been a novelty in the store...cassette tape metal it was called. When I got home, I saw that I had received a demo tape that they used to play in the store. It was this song and I absolutely fell in love with the song.

Whenever I go to my grandparents house, they’re always playing background music on the tv that i never recognize.
The other day I was listening to the beauty of this piece. Then the next day I was at my grandparents house. @Hollow It took me like 5 years. I heard the song when I was 3 and always remembered that melody because it was so beautiful. I tried to find it since 2015 when I remembered the song and liked it and I found it right now in 2020 and I'm 12 now lol
