This is a bit NSFW, but when I used to make concrete projects myself, I used a cheap vibrator to get the bubbles out of the wet concrete. I just cranked that baby up high and pressed it carefully to the side of my mould. Way cheaper than a vacuum and great for small projects.

You have to vibrate the concrete when it's wet so you don't end up with holes. I worked concrete for 5 years...
