The Mawddach Trail - Barmouth to Dolgellau Cycle Route

The Mawddach Trail is a scenic cycling (and walking) path that runs for 9 miles along the Mawddach estuary in Wales, UK. The trail runs between the coastal resort of Barmouth and the picturesque market town of Dolgellau. Along the way, the trail offers stunning views of the estuary, the surrounding mountains, and the nearby railway viaduct. A great family friendly, traffic free cycle route.

Great video guys. I live up on Anglesey and hoping to come down in the next few weeks! Do you by any chance have a postcode or an idea of where I can park up my van in Dolgellau to start our cycle? Also, how long roughly to Barmouth and back? Thanks! Phill 😊

There's a large car park at the very start in Dolgellau (Marian Mawr Enterprize Park Dolgellau, Gwynedd LL40), round trip is 18miles, the route is flat nearly all off road and well pathed with stunning views.
