The theme from the 1968-1972 clip was also used on the 60s British ITV drama THE POWER GAME.
At 2:03 and 3:02, the present is Daniel Peer, who co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1979.
Great video, but KAN 11 is not rebranded version of Channel One - it is a different channel that replaced it

Mabat (מבט) is both the name of the IBA news programme and literally "a look" in Hebrew . Just like 20 Heures is both the name of TF1 news programme and literally "20 hours" in French. :D

19?? is late 1970's and 1983 one is from 1981, but recordings are from 1983-84 era.

It's because israeli TV still used black and white in the 80s due to an economic situation, so they wanted TV to be fair for everyone, so every TV show in Israel was recorded in black and white, we would have colored TV until the late to early 90s
