Throughout the pandemic I've been putting in crazy hours, 50+ a week since the beginning. My company have been great though, upping my hourly rate and bonuses every few months. Been saving all of the extra to buy a few booster boxes and just go nuts for once in my life. Can't wait.

Leon why you opening newest set so quickly :(? You are rushing it so much and I dont know why :D Where is the chill and 16packs or okay whole booster box but this is sooo soo quick and when you have holo, V or not good Vmax you show that just for one sec. It feels like you are not enjoy the set very much and just hunting some of cards.
It's cause we all have already seen the arts with the Japanese sets.i agree idk why he thinks we wouldn't watch longer slower videos but he knows his channels analytics so I'm sure he's got his reasons
Im sorry its maybe just my opinion, but it was too big rush. Definitely longer video and just 1 or maybe 2 booster boxes and no 3 in 20mins. I didnt enjoy that very much. Understand if somebody know that from japanese sets but like I said this was speed run :D
its because he hunts only the expensive ones and doesn’t care much about the rest. Basically these new sets are all for the youtubers who can afford to open hundreds and hundreds of packs and a big no for who likes to collect. I miss the old and small set with better chance at pulling ultrarares. These days if you dont get really lucky and pull a alternative card you wasted your money
I totally understand what you mean and feel. This opening was a little rush and no much enjoyable. Maybe cuz he had opened boxes few days ago and not all of them were the best but still feels a bit-much empty, half of certain emotions that sometimes gives in his videos or even the past ones besides if the boxes were good or not.
I would be mad excited opening this box, I always admire and collect the bulk too.
I remember when alt arts were looked past apon. Love to see pokemon is trying to make more of them🤗

They’re making alt arts that are stunning now. Previous sets had some kewl ones but nothing like the new ones. Finally giving us chase cards other than a Charizard.

Cosmic eclipse has so many nice ones that don’t even cost much. I just jumped back into Pokémon and those are my favs so far because of the trainers

I just got back into collecting with this set. Gotten alot of alt art cards so far im very happy with this set, plus I am nearing completion of the entire base set!

Hey Leon! Loved the vid as always, as a beginner collector would you recommend just going for the (affordable) singles instead? I've watched so many people open up so much early ES packs and like you said it *really* does seem astronomically low to get the big hitters. Regardless, glad to see you're feeling better!
Find out what your favorite kind of card is (full art, rainbow, alt art, gold, vintage, etc.) and collect that. You will have a much more satisfying collection
Get collection boxes that have packs from many different sets to reduce the amount of double up cards you have and to get different card mechanics
Isaiah Santiago : that's what I started doing instead of spending a lot of money on tins and booster boxes . I just buy the cards I want saves you a lot of money.
Booster boxes will always be your best chance, dont listen to anyone else. Promos are also going to start going up, so special packs with promos are worth it, if they arent more than 5dollars us.
I buy the sleeved booster packs. Can't be weighed and I seem to have better pulls than a booster box. But a box is prolly the safest route.
Nothing better than a nice relaxing Sunday watching you pull beautiful cards as I switch around my cards in my Pokémon binder ❤️

Honestly I feel like big Poketubers start to get real selfish and will just throw away cards that they have tons of like commons and uncommons and even regular rares or Vs just in order to find one card- like where I'm at we have literally nothing, and it's really hard to get a single tin or box let a lone one booster pack

In evolving skies, I have opened 2 booster boxes, and I got an Umbreon v alt art out of one, and a Sylveon vmax alt art out of the other, plus a bunch of other good cards like the Rayquaza vmax regular art
