The bay been a hub for culture we just don’t get radio play. Idk why but it’s that and we weren’t as united back then. Everyone was on they own shit and I feel like it made for good competition but bad because we never had a shine other than the hyphy movement for a sec but we have local artists who have a plethora of influences and styles that makes Bay Area music so unique. I love I just wish we got our flowers. At the same time we got legendary ones like 40 n short n nobody can say they aren’t pioneers
