So it’s basically just a articulated bus that looks like a train.
    That’s kinda dumb.

This is an optically guided articulated bus, not a train. Put it in a BRT and make the system an alternative to automatic trains.

      CHINA’s lies , Taiwan , Brazil ,
France and all countries had been using this system of articulated Buses , it
Is just called Bus Rapid Transit System , Stop the misleading and bullshit lies
      , RED Fascist CHINA ! >>>>
      Typically, a BRT system
      includes roadway
that is dedicated to buses, and gives priority
to buses at intersections where buses may
interact with other traffic; alongside design features to reduce delays caused by passengers
boarding or leaving buses, or purchasing fares. BRT aims to
combine the capacity and speed of a metro
with the flexibility, lower cost and simplicity of a bus system.
      The first BRT system was
      the Rede Integrada de Transporte
      ('Integrated Transportation Network') in Curitiba,
Brazil, which entered service in 1974. This inspired many similar systems
around Brazil and the world, such as TransMilenio
      in Bogotá,
      Colombia,
which opened in 2000. As of November 2016, a total of 207 cities in six
continents have implemented BRT systems, accounting for 5,468 km
      (3,398 mi) of BRT lanes.[

this is tram without track. can serve much more people than a long bus. different from brt, it may share lane with normal cars just as tram. it is fundamentally different.

Yu Zhang people want a safe way of travel without having to worry about some hitting their bus. Trains are the safest way of transportation besides planes.

when self-drive technique is safe enough, this trackless tram is suitable for any city seeking for conventional tram solutions. many small /middle cities rely on tram system at present.

    More like a bus

  • @qishi1974
    @qishi1974 Před 7 lety

So technically its a bus that look like a train. Some say Bus dont hav several carriages.
Bus with more than 3 carriages already existed in Europe in the 70's
Plus this automatic system still needs a driver so no so much a automatic self drive train
And automatic vehicles are already tested by all majors car companies succesfully, and truly without driver
So not much of an invention.
I'm always so disapointed in this silly projects that are so much hightlighted for nothing and that make China lose face.
