You played a kind of hockey we forgot about in the '60's and had to re-discover.
My sincere Russian respect to Canadian fans who donated their money to create the replica and of course to George Smith. Alan Eagleston will be remebered as a an asshole for all his life, while George Smith is a true Canadian man of honour. I miss Canada Cup! This was much more interesting than World Cups.
I remember,that CCCP players did not receive original Cup.But I did not know until now they received a copy thanks to Canadien fans,our local then goverment told only there was a copy prepared if Canada will not win.

actually i just read that the company who made the cup did it for free, and the $32,000 was donated to minor hockey :)
Canadians are good people/ with big hearts its just a game and we all must stay with human face
