Thanks for the review. I often wonder why gravel bikes don't offer lower gearing for older riders or those in hilly areas.
Awesome bike! I bought mine at the same shop 🙂. I've ridden almost 1500 km and can say it's an excellent bike for commuting or bike tours. I'm considering modifying the transmission, perhaps switching to a 38T or even 36T. There are plenty of steep hills where I usually ride, and sometimes the gearing feels too high, especially when the bike is loaded with bags.

absolutely, I have 700c/38mm on them, although you will need a different wheelset as it comes with 650b wheelset.
Why choosed Rove instead Sutra LTD? I am in the market for the same bike. And it is hard to decide for the Sutra LTD or the Rove DL. I need an all rounder/commuter/gravel bike and only very occasionaly bikepacking. So the Sutra LTD might be overkill for me. The Rove seems more balanced as all roud bike. Interesting to hear your thoughts. I like the steel frame. Coming from mtb, so the weight does not botter me.
Sounds like for me the Kona is a better option. Sutra wheels are too wide for regular commuter and the price is a lot higher
Rove would be fine for you described, if you have doubts just try them both. I would think the Rove probably has a bit more responsive handling and is the more fun of the two.
I'm interested in the Rove DL 2022 (1520€), 2023 (1700€) or the Rove LTD (2300€). Not sure if the LTD is worth that much more?
Personally I would go with the Rove DL 2022 if you can get it for that price. It's better value. The part upgrades are not worth that much in my opinion. But if you really want those better parts the LTD is an excellent bike as well.
