All my family is from England (Not Slough though) yet I was born and raised in Canada, apart from when I was 2 until 4 when we temporarily moved back. Still those days, 2 to 4 years old, formed my earliest memories and I always look fondly on England. I have been back there many times and am almost 40, so I know England well. Still I am mostly Canadian now as most of my life has been spent here in Canada (I also love my home here in Canada!). This video makes me miss England though. It is gray and wet maybe, but if it is familiar, it warms the heart. Plus I love the deep green of the trees in this video, it is one of the biggest triggers of my memory! The full and deep green of their canopies. There are some trees like that here in Canada that immediately make me think of England and Britain. This video made me miss the UK dearly. I want to go back soon!
This is the journey I did every day from Oct 16 2016 to Dec 30 2016 when my mum was in Wexham Pk Hospital when she passed. So strange I'm finding Vids that are reflective of journey's I've made... thanks for posting.
It all rose coloured its nostalgia what you are experiencing is a memory and it would be a disappointment if you went back I have done this and seen it happen to others, in reality, it's what's in your memory that's important it connects you to the past. The reality is different now it's a different place be happy with your memories.
