Anything with a glow or shine looks so more detailed with pop. I love it.

The sharpness seems hit and miss, but the colors are spot on. The reds and blues really pop. Some skintones seem a bit too saturated and warm but I think this is worlds better than the bluray we currently have. Thanks for the video, always love your comparisons.

I am guessing that's because #1 it is a cheaper production vs the original and #2 a lot of 80s films use soft lenses. I noticed that with The Thing 4KBD as well, some shots seem a little soft.

I'm curious how this compares to the Shout Factory Blu-ray.

Which one: the 2017 or 2024 (included with 4K)?

For what it is worth, I just found this out for myself. Not the most technical input/feedback but… Owning the 2017, I thought that the 4K looked slightly sharper and more filmic. Night/darker scenes were somewhat noticeably brighter on the 2017 BR disc also. (My TV is a Samsung UHD which is about 65” offhand.) 4K is better, but I just rented for now. 2017 is still a good disc and waiting to spend a little less for the 4K.

For those wondering, RoboCop's suit purposefully had a blue tint to it in this movie since its theatrical release.
Thanks for the upload too, Moon.

Anybody know if the physical copy will support Dolby Vision like the first film?

So wait, is the 4K edition actually sharper or not?

Looks a bit green in some scenes on 4K. Teal is everywhere these days.

Yikes too much DNR with this release. They did really well with the first movie, wonder why they'd apply so much DNR this time.

Different companies, first one was arrow video and this is Shout Factory

@@PolystoneFreak Then that's confusing because Shout! usually does very good remasters.

That blue colors looks incredible!!! (1:44), some skin colour are saturated, BUT DNR ruined the entire movie!!!!!!!! VERY disappointed.
