The thing they really missed out on is randomizing what enemies you would have to fight on the wheel for every playthrough you went through. Like what does the bear paw have you fight? Does if have you fight the wolves that are out in the snow? What if the final boss at the end was different? Like what if you got the werewolves during the rotation, and then the final rotation, you had to fight the Hollow? Maybe it would give you a unique hollow boss fight that has a different fighting style compared to the regular hollow.
A bit late I know, but one of the DLC for the game adds the Wheel of Misfortune to the manor that you can play an infinite number of times, and while they still didn't make it random, it does show the paw is indeed wolves, and that the question mark is a mixture of every other enemy type on the wheel in a single wave.
I kind of wish we could've been able to kill him. Especially after he tried to betray us in Fable 2 after going to all that trouble to return the dark seal
