He killed it and it was my dream, a dream i thought would NEVER happen. When i heard rumours in like yeah yeah theres always rumours.
But then they actually signed him.
Back in that time a player like Henry youd think hed be there until he was finishing his career. But he came still with solid years in him and he went above and beyond my expectations. I dunno what the hell everyone else was hating. I remember back then hearing and reading articles talking about how they are getting an aging Henry and hes coming just cause they beat arsenal in the champions. But man those days were so beautiful. He played some of his best in my opinion. Others say he was at his best because of his numbers at arsenal but i think he was better at barcelona.
He was amazing and They did force him to stay on the wings a lot of times. But you could see when he came in after like 2 months he was sold into the system and he just ran with it. Everything i admired about his game. His grit, his strength, his speed but his elegance on the ball. Everyone talks about Iniesta but for a tall man that was used to just sprinting on and having his pick of the balls. He had to pick his poison and truly played like a man in his prime but also a veteran.
I loved every second of it and i still go back to watch his games in Barca. Of course he had some of his most brilliant games skill wise mesmerizing goals wise in Arsenal. Skill wise he was at his best in Arsenal. Definitely more flashier. But techinical and making runs and just reading the game. He was at his best in Barca. And then you mix with his great touches and his amazing sprints. Even seeing him be a tad bit slower in Barca he was still fast. Hes in my top 5 of all time

It's definitely a waste of his potential given what he could do and the plays he could make. Of course he's still class so he's still going to put on a good show regardless but the game at barcelona was strictly around what Iniesta xavi and messi could do and making the whole team play as a unit.

Tfym. He became a legend also got into arguably the best team in europe that time. The trio of Messi Eto and Henry was so deadly. They wrecked Madrid and whole europe winning the sextuple. He had a respectable 49 goals and 27 assists in 121 matches with tons of injuries but learnt about football in a very technical way learning more and more as a player which only made him better. Before he was a free striker and he even gained the mentality and the skills of a playmaker aswell. Him being at Barca made him improve more than he did at Arsenal but ofcourse his achievements will always be better at Arsenal.
